When u throw resignation letter and serve the notice period, do u tell your colleague that you are leaving the company or you just stay quiet until someone knows that you already sent resignation letter?

In my situation, if I sent by today, colleagues in my dept will know immediately.

I'm 25 years old this year, still single, no GF.
I feel worried. My friends from secondary school, college, many of them already married and some of them on their way to get married.

Just now I received one wedding invitation. Both of them know each other during school time.

Meanwhile I'm still single

I feel jealous, lonely, sad in the same time right now.

Why they are so obsessed produced bigger and bigger phone?

Samsung Galaxy S8 size 5.8 inch,
Huawei Mate 10 5.9 inch

These are some of the example, why they want to build something that won't fit in the pocket?
Tbh maximum phone size that I can still accept is 5.5inch only, more than that it's a big NO for me.

So far only Apple still produce 4.7inch phone which is the the perfect size and easy to carry around and fit in your pocket especially if you wear slim fit jeans.

Anyone here is using Android phone starting RM2K++?

How's the android condition when you are using it for 2-3 years and above? Does it lag, "hang", or have a problem after you use it for that duration? Does it lag after u update to latest android update?
My experience with android before this makes me disappointed and think twice want to return back to Android OS.

I know flagship android nowadays have better specs, but how about improvement in terms of user experience etc?

How angmoh people can survive without eating rice for long period?

I know some of them eat Subway for Dinner, eating cereal for breakfast.
Some of them just eat burger for dinner and other foods that considered light to malaysian.

I cannot eat cereal/bread for breakfast, I will end up become hungry 1 hour later after eat them.
Eat Nasi Lemak, Bihun or Mee Goreng much much better and can last until afternoon before going for lunch.

If I didn't eat rice for 2 days, I feel something wrong and feeling my life is incomplete.

Malaysians are world's largest WhatsApp users

KUALA LUMPUR: The Digital News Report 2017 found that Malaysians are the world’s largest users of WhatsApp at 51 per cent.

The report also found that Facebook and YouTube are also popular with Malaysians, with 58 per cent and 26 per cent users respectively, and WeChat and Instagram, with 13 per cent.

Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak noting these, said the report also mentioned Malaysians as getting 86 per cent of their news feed from social media, 45 per cent from publications, 54 per cent from television and 15 per cent from radio.

“Smartphones are used as the main device, at 65 per cent, computers (45 per cent) and tablets (18 per cent),” he said in his latest posting at www.sskeruak.blogspot.my, today.

According to him, a study made by another organisation, TNS Global similarly found Malaysians as being the largest group of WhatsApp users, at 77 per cent, and Facebook Messenger, at 41 per cent. Salleh attributed the findings to Malaysia’s good internet facilities and penetration.

According to him, WhatsApp was the main choice for consumers because of its many advantages such as simplicity and speed in communication and information sharing, and effective interfaces within an organisation as every instruction or alert could be sent without time restriction, and saves cost.

He said Whatsapp also helped the ordinary businessman to promote his (or her) endeavour without spending a lot of money, and widely used as an effective political campaign tool.

“Just imagine a WhatsApp group with 200 members. If someone has 10 WhatsApp groups, in a short time he can share information with 2,000 people,” he said.

However, Salleh noted that WhatsApp did have its disadvantages, of which the most glaring was when it was used to disseminate false information to tarnish a person’s image.

“I support freedom of information, but don’t use WhatsApp to undermine the credibility of others with false news. WhatsApp has a huge impact on society. Its power is like a sharp knife that can injure,” he said. - Bernama
