Laptop showed "Invalid Partition Table"q

Last night, I put my laptop to Hibernate mode and when I tried to start it this morning, it gave me "invalid partition table". I have tried based on this solution:

in the solution said : At the DOS command prompt, type in: fdisk, but there is no such command FDISK.

Please help!!!!!

p/s: I am using Dell Inspiron 1420, WinXP SP3.

Water slip inside Laptop LCD screen. HELP!

Hello guys.

For all of you who work in KL, sure you guys know how heavy the rain was on Friday evening. I travel with bike so as usual I put my laptop bag inside the box but for extra precaution, I put my laptop inside a plastic bag. But due to the super duper heavy rain, the plastic cannot withstand the water from coming inside the plastic bag and slip inside the laptop.

So when I get back, I dried out my laptop with fan for hours and I tried to switch on. Windows are loading normally except for one problem. Inside the LCD, got huge watermark! I am panic and straightaway switched it off back. I have tried contacting DELL Support but they said, my company only purchase normal warranty which is not cover any accidental damage. Now I'm stuck. I dont know how to open the LCD and afraid to create more damage to the laptop. Does anyone here experienced this problem? Owh, my colleague asked me to put my laptop inside carboot outside which I did but the watermark are still there.

Please help me!!!! I have only about 5 days to solve this because on Sunday I have to go to Sabah for outstation alone for a month and I really need the laptop to be in good working condition because it will be used alot in my work.

Does anyone know where I can order a basketball backboard together with hoop? I live in a semi-D corner lot house and I plan to install a basketball backboard to my wall. Anyone knows any contractor that can do this?
