http://forum.lowyat.net/ Sun, 26 Jul 2026 17:29:38 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4408602 Hi guys just finished building my gaming rig and i have a few questions where i hoped you guys can enlighthen me<br /><br />And perhaps help those who might come across the same problem as me<br /><br />I tried to browsing the net to find an answer but unfortunately i couldnt get any( or maybe im not looking in the right places<br /><br />These are my specs<br /><br />i7-7700K <br />NZXT - Kraken X62 <br /> Asus - STRIX Z270-E <br />G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200<br />Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti<br />NZXT - S340 elite<br />psu corsair - ax760W <br /><br />Upon booting the bios for the first time my cpu temps kept going up, when it was just idling ( up to 70 degrees when i switched off immediately as to not fry my cpu)<br /><br />The kraken fans were spinning and led lights were up but i have no idea if the pump was working. It was quiet, theres some vibration which i thought was coming from the case fans<br /><br />I decided to disconect the isb on the kraken and then the fans were spinning at full speed, and now the temp starts to stablize at 29-31 degrees<br /><br />I posted my concerns on nzxt reddit forums but got nothing helpful<br /><br />When i tried to fiddle the fan curve on the mobo, i had to set the qns to full speed then i saw some improvement <br /><br />Just wondering if i am missing something as to my knowledge u dun have to tinker a fresh newly installed AIO cooler right out of the box<br /><br />Thank you for those that can enlighten me<br /><br />Ive attached a pic of my completed build<br /><br /><br /><br /> lutp2003 Hardware Wed, 13 Sep 2017 15:28:55 +0800
