Hi Guys,

I just wanted to stress out my feeling here. positive comment are welcome.

I have been working with my current employer for almost 4 years and decided to jump out for change in career. Can be said the economy nowadays also not really went well, hence company may face some cash flow problem, but at least the company still manage to pay staff salary on time as of current.

I have received few offers to jump out from my current company, but end up I decided to decline the offer as the job role is not the one I have handled previously, and of course all need time to learn and pick up. Maybe my company do practice to terminate staff if they are not performing mainly towards sales people who are not able to achieve their sales target. So, I will have the feeling if I cannot perform the job, what would the management will take for next action.

I did encounter few interviewers who are quite sarcastic and asking why you are requesting so high salary and your skills and experience is not up to our bar and company still need to put money and time to invest and develop you. Yes, it is kinda true. I am agree what he said. And some interviewer will ask "why you want to change job? we are hiring someone skill set is similar with you, if you are looking for career development, i cannot see you can develop your career since the things here is the same." some interviewer will say " you don't have this experience, we prefer some have relevant experience to handle this."

Recently read through an article from LinkedIn, No one is perfect fit in to a position. Interviewer shouldn't justify a person not fit to the job from their perspective of view. Throughout the interview session, you not really see their capability of work, skills. Some candidate can perform good interview skills, but come to actual work, they may not able to perform.

And, I have two path to choose for- one is generalist and one is specialist. if I choose specialist, I may stuck in this certain area for my whole future career development. If for generalist, I will be excel into all aspect of the role function if there is any opportunity given for more exposure. And, currently I do have an offer from specialist role. I am thinking whether to accept it as it will really have a big impact towards my career development.

But anyhow, it is very serious if someone already in comfort zone, you will feel afraid to take up the new role/new challenges to grow further. I do understand we must think positively and believe you could success in your future endeavor.

not sure how the culture/environment/and etc there.
wish to apply the position, but after viewed the comment in glassdoor seem it is not so good as commented.

heard that indians has taken huge populations over there... ( i not racist, just a concern what will be the working environment as I do not have experience working with indians, so not sure their working style)

Any Idea about this company?
I was called for interview. However, when read through it's past business process, it seems not doing good and company review in Jobstreet also not so good which 1 former staff mentioned about the company no provide the job secureness and financially not stable.

what is the current status for this company, seem like I not able to find the review from Y2014 to current. Appreciate guys here can provide me advice and guidance.
