Light Weight Brick

Hi all Sifu,
I plan to do house extension on a ground floor (15’X15’ outside of the house) which already have the ceramic tiles installed on the floor. If I were to build 3 sides brick wall (10ft’ height), can the brick wall be built directly just on top of the ceramic tiles, without any concrete footing dig to the ground? The reason I plan to do this is because,
1st I want to save the existing floor tiles, so that I do not need to rebuild the floor for the extension work.
2ndly is my contractor told me that if want to build concrete footing, they only able to dig about 1 inch depth, as they believe there is already some wire mesh and stone underneath the floor tiles. The cost to build and dig wall footing could be high, as it’s very difficult for them to cut steel and stone underneath the floor.
The contractor suggests to use the Light Weight Brick for the wall, so that the 3 sides wall can just sit on top of the existing ceramic tiles. Do you think this is workable? Will the ceramic tiles or the 1 inch deep footing able to take the load of the 10 ft’ height wall?
