[BULK] AKG K240/K270 velour ear pads

AKG K240/K270 velour ear pads

Either order from Asia Sound for RM110. 12 weeks ETA.
Or bulk order from LYN'er E1-AKG: RM80. 8 weeks ETA after bulk close.

Will PM you guys for payment when bulk closes. Shipping and COD cost = approx RM6-10.
Total damage = Approx RM90 (for petrol and shipping).
_____
ANNOUNCEMENT
E1-AKG has quoted me a price of RM88 PER SIDE, RM176 per pair. I believe there was some mis-communication when he quoted bro williepoh RM80, he probably meant it is for each pad.

So back to the original plan: order from AKG's official Msia authorised distro.
Approx RM110 for a pair.
-------

Why specifically AKG K240's earpads?
Because there have been quite a few review out there stating that K240 velour pads improve the sound quality of 668B.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/413927/will-beyerdynamic-dt770-velour-pads-fit-akg-k240s#post_5509931
Ares [Head-fi forum]
The DT770 pads fit right onto the body of the K240s; however, they are not nearly as transparent as their stock brethren.

while they fit on, they are a bit tight. When they are fastened, the DT770 pads provide great comfort. Nevertheless, the SQ suffers. The most notably changes were in the bass and the mid range. It appears that the bass becomes less defined and, I would like to say, more boomy; The modified bass appears to completely trash the midrange of the cans.

These will also fit Superlux HD668B and HD681 directly.

1) iamyuanwu
2) williepoh
3) Agnaem
4) noobandroid
5) scph50004
6)
7)
8)
9)
10)
11) Yuki Ijuin (pending)
12) shadowshine (pending)
13) reez_haris (pending)
etc...

Hahahahahah!
(24/96 are available too)

Who wants to volunteer for such a task? Then we can copy & paste when we meet at a TT or in Jaben, and lets all get drunk on the crazy sampling rates.

p.s. added link to first post.
[addedon]Jun 27, 2010, 02:47 PM[/addedon]
More free samples of Hi Res digital files.

Two More Complimentary 24/176.4 HRx Downloads Courtesy of Reference Recordings
i) D!ck Hyman - Thinking About Bix
ii) Minnesota Orchestra (Eiji Oue, conductor) - Reveries

http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/...ence-Recordings

Mac Mini can't boot.

Previous generation Mac Mini. Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory.
I was burning a CD with an external USB harddisk plugged in. Then I went away. About 4 hours later when I checked it, the screen saver was running as usual.

Another 15 minutes later, these symptoms appeared:
- Mini's LED light is on, which means it was still running
- LCD blank (black), in power saving mode
- Apple aluminium keyboard not responsive
- Mouse when plugged into the keyboard is not responsive, but is responsive when plugged directly into Mac Mini
- When I rebooted the Mac Mini, it just spins the CD for a while then stops with blank(black) screen.

*How can I remove the CD? (it's still inside)
*What can I do to boot the Mac Mini.

This is the 2nd time the Mac Mini has died on me. The last time it happened, i was also burning a CD with a USB harddisk. Apple told me my logic board went hangus.

My grandma is about 92 years old. She's still very clear minded.

Suddenly, beginning from last Wednesday (16 Apr '08), she started forgetting things - not the forget-where-I-put-my-keys. She's still talking normally, going on with her chores, and she is aware of this problem.

First, she couldn't remember what to call my long hair. The next day, she started forgetting certain people and names. By today, she can't recognise written words & numbers. She even forgot the name of her husband (my deceased grandpa), and she can't remember her daughters' name (my aunts), my name... etc. She can recognise the face, but not the name.

This is freaking my out! It happens in a span of a week, so I'm not sure if it's Alzheimer's. I'm taking her to the doctor tomorrow. I suspect it might be stroke too.

I need good advice... fast.
------
Oh, If you have seen this kind of situation, do quote your observations/experience.
