This SSD’s been with me for ages, never crashed Windows, no BSOD, ran BF6 beta perfectly with no stutters or texture bugs… only thing is boot’s getting a bit slower think it’s time to retire it... and the health been steadily dropping ~1% every 2-3 months...

Avg temp: 39°C idle, min 36°C with AC on, 55°C under load...

I don't know which NVMe to buy, I have already some in mind and I'm only going for 1TB max and no QLC SSD like Crucial P3..

KC3000 DRAM, SN7100, SN850X DRAM, NM790, and maybe another SX8200 Pro Gen3

I was initially gonna buy the SN850X, but then two of my friends both have SN850X 1TB as their boot drive, and they also ran BF6 beta on it.. they get texture disappearing bugs.. the game crashes, and sometimes BSOD during BF6 beta.

I don’t really care much about Gen4 speed but honestly I can't find decent Gen3 cheaper than Gen4 so might as well go Gen4.

I have a fractal casing 10 yrs ago, very quiet i like it alot (maybe cooling not so good and fan inside working overtime but I cant hear it anyway).

I have been checking places liek IdealTech (cause they have Fractal casing), i double check their GPU pricing, its around same as AllIT so thats kinda ok for me.

(Usage if anyone cares, browsing, some games like MMO, SpaceMarines2, RPG, etc. I upgrade my PC every ~4/5 yrs. I run a Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor)

A Few Questions:
1. Does the build look solid and balanced? Any parts I should change or be cautious about?
2. Is the ID-Cooling A720 sufficient for the 7800X3D long-term? (Not planning to overclock.)
3. Any compatibility issues I might have missed?
4. Monitor Advice Needed – I’m currently on a BenQ XL2411Z (1080p 144Hz TN) which has served me well for years in FPS titles, but I feel like it won't do justice to the RTX 5070 Ti.

I’m considering upgrading to something like the BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710Q (1440p 165Hz IPS).
Would that be a worthwhile upgrade? Any better options in the RM1000–RM1500 range for 1440p 144–165Hz gaming?

What is the main difference between this 2 that gives better value for money? on czone price list the 7600x costs RM 919 whereas the 7700x costs RM 1519
purpose: playing games (POE 2 - cpu intensive / overwatch2 and others) , 3D rendering of objects (not animation)
I run 2 screens at the same time if it matters

for gc i'm currently using nvidia 1070 and am waiting for the 5xxx series, will upgrade that in the future. won't be going above RTX 5070ti for the graphic card or prolly 5060

My desktop display is at an angle on my laptop.

Regardless of how this pic looks, I assure you that when I opened up the laptop, it showed the desktop in profile mode and so the only way I can look at the desktop was to set the laptop on it side like this.

I opened up the display settings but I do not see a setting for this. Please advise.

Hi sifus,

need advice and sanity check for new PC that i plan to buy around April. 10 years old PC is dying and need a new replacement. no plan to upgrade for at least 5 years, and aim to use it for 10 years. the most heavy task it going to run is gaming at 1080p @ 60FPS.

CPU : AMD 5600 or 5800x3d? Have the budget for 5800x3d, but not sure if it is worth it. Given that i do play 4X game occasionally and going to use this CPU for 10 years.
GPU : AMD 7600. or is there any better value GPU in the market?
Mobo : ASROCK Steel legend b550m. Not sure if this mobo is suitable / durable for my use case.
Ram : 32GB @ 3600. is this suitable? Any brand recommendation?

Would appreciate if any experts can advise on how to upgrade my 10 years old system which I occasionally upgrade parts by parts over the years. Recently has been lagging and hearing loud noises from my CPU during running some games or videos, unsure if its from GPU or processors or RAM.

Currently use my PC mainly for google browser, creating simple website, microsoft office, occasional short video video editing, gaming like Dota/MMO/Genshin.
Budget RM5000-6000. I am thinking of upgrading my processors, MOBO, RAM but any advise is welcome. I am stuck with compatibility issues as the rig is rather old. Thanks in advance.
