The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is now available in Malaysia after the global launch. Any idea whether Vivo X300 Ultra will also have a global launch and eventually sold in Malaysia?

A note on the primary sensor. In the article above, it was mentioned, " Moreover, the publication cited a vivo representative who said that the company cannot yet disclose the primary camera sensor, which will likely play a key role in advancing the device’s video capabilities."

However, in ChatGPT it was mentioned that the size of the primary sensor will be 1/1.12″ (Sony LYT-901 CMOS). Any thoughts if the size of the sensor in the Vivo X300 Ultra will eventually be 1/1.12"? It's still smaller than the 1" type sensor in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra though.

Interested to buy this China android phone because of the detachable battery design. Compare to Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro , the spec is way better and better design overall.

Why no Malaysian distributor selling this phone? I found 1 or 2 local seller selling other Ulefone mobile in Sopi, but already ask the seller , they don't sell this model.
I prefer to buy it from local Malaysian seller.

Hi all,

My father is using a new phone cable 7A 100W to charge my Redmi 13. I bought to him from Essager Official Store online. But he complaint to me that he experience hotness on the charger and phone compare to the original cable. I am stay away from him so cannot check how hot is it.

I have google the original charger is 3A 77W and it is safe to use as the phone only accept 77W even the cable can provide 100W.

May I know is it safe to continue to use and any impact on the phone and other?

I recently uploaded a YouTube video where I played Destiny Rising on a Xiaomi Pad 7 (Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset) using keyboard and mouse, and honestly, it feels like the beginning of a shift in how Android tablets are used for gaming.

This wasn’t touch controls or controller emulation — it was proper keyboard + mouse gameplay, running smoothly on an Android tablet.

Why This Matters? What stood out isn’t just performance, but how close the experience feels to a PC - there are no forced touch during gameplay, and the game have full support for keyboard and mouse - making it feel as natural as playing on PC laptop.

This could be the bridge between mobile games becoming more PC like and tablets becoming a true hybrid gaming platform.
And I have not yet to talk about PC emulation on Android eg. with Winlator and Gamehub.

I just go to know about this Oppo X9 Ultra earlier this week. The primary camera is said to use Sony's newly announced LYTIA 901 sensor, a 200-megapixel unit measuring 1/1.12 inches, paired with a 23mm focal length lens. Any information if there will be a global launch with this phone with a possibility of it being sold in Malaysia?

The 1/1.12" sensor is the main selling point for me.

I've read about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra which will come with a 1-inch Type Sensor earlier this week. Apparently there will be a global launch with this set it seems. Any thoughts if it will eventually come to Malaysia by early to mid of next year if that's true?

There are some videos on Youtube where Xiaomi Official site indicates that there will be a global launch with this phone. It would be interesting to compare the Leica 1"-Type sensor in the 17 Ultra to some of its closest competitor which would be the X300 Pro or Ultra, though there is no indication that there will be a global launch with the latter. Nevertheless, the X300 Ultra's sensor at 1/1.12" is still smaller than the 1"-Type sensor in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

I have no clear preference between Leica and Zeiss lens in the Xiaomi and Vivo phones respectively as the quality of photos or videos will ultimately be down to the implementation rather than outright type of lens used. Nevertheless, based on sample images on the internet, I have a slight preference to images produced by the Zeiss lens as they look slightly brighter and more natural while the Leica more saturated and stronger colours.

I've been looking for the best tablet within my current budget.

I want something that can do a little bit of everything that I want.

-Drawing
-media
-light gaming
-light editing

For drawing I want a pen that has pressure.

I end up with these:

Ipad 11 A16 - Good processor but 60hz screen and Apple pencil first generation is pricey (maybe can find a cheaper second hand). I also don't have other Apple device and have zero experience with iOS.

Huawei Mate 11.5 - Good pen, Good price, Good screen but lacking playstore, need third party app for it and so-so for media consumption since it limits the quality of certain apps. (at least from the review on youtube)

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro - okay pen, great size but concerning reviews. Screen not bright enough/lag while multi tasking etc.

Xiaomi Pad 7 - It seems good, the pen is extra cost, not as much as Apple pencil. Some people seems to say it's stable and fast. And others say HyperOS is not good. "good spec, bad software" they say.

Also apparently Poco is releasing a clone of Xiaomi pad 7 called Poco pad X1. Not sure how much the price will differ or if there's a difference in software.

All these tablet I can get for under 1800, at least at this moment I'm writing this.

Any advice and suggestion is highly appreciated.

Oneplus 15 china set or global set ?,

Am looking to purchase a phone for myself on 11.11 and had my eyes set on the global version of oneplus 15 until it launched and was shocked that the price was around the RM 4k mark as compared with the oneplus 15 with same hardware China set priced under RM 3k.
Am previous user of oneplus 8 pro and was very happy until the phone dropped so many times, green lines appeared, green screen didnt go away. It was just wayyyy too big.

Am wondering what is the actual diff between the china rom oneplus 15 and global rom oneplus 15 ? i think hardware wise no diff. software wise everything diff.
what are the errors or disadvantages of it as the price of the china set oneplus15 is almost halved.
what would i be suffering from if i use the oneplus 15 china set here in malaysia ?

i read in gsmarena that i can easily install google playstore and other google stuff if i use the oneplus 15 china set (color os if i'm not mistaken) and all would be jolly and normal. is it true ?
will i encounter difficulty in obtaining 5g signals as versus the global version ?

the price of the china oneplus 15 is just too enticing to pass up on when compared to the global version, yes i know warranty will be on the difficult side but other than that will i encounter other issues that will arise on daily basis usage ? like signal drops, or diffuclt in 5g signals due to diff bands ?
i also read in the comment section of some forums like xda that china roms need to debloat massively or disabled. flashing a china set to global rom was highly NOT recommended due to difficulty in updates, not sure on this one cause its still new even in xda.

anyone care to share their exp in using china rom oneplus ?

i was also looking at the oneplus 13s/t which i was also considering due to the small 6" size which i like. Any thoughts on this matter as i need to replace 2 phones of mine that are very aged.
i was also comparing it to the xiaomi 17 pro (not pro max) which is around the price range but also china rom as global version not out yet.

so far the oneplus 15 caught my eye as i like the design and big battery. just very unsure about china version oneplus 15 but the price is indeed way cheaper than the global version.
also caught my eye with similar design is the 13s or 13 t. size wise is very attractive. not sure what faults i will encounter as both are not global version, only china and india version.
then there's the 17 pro which also size wise is nice (not the pro max) and the funky rear camera with display. Very unique. Also only china version no global yet and unsure as i've never used any CN sets before so not sure what kind of errors or difficulty i would expect.

Thanks in advance if u guys are willing to share your experience using china sets. Tips and tricks and recommendations are much appreciated. Advice will definitely help me out in more ways than 1.
