Upside down Mobo + GPU mount on window, Just brainstorming

Upside down because scared leak.
Whole system mount on window to exhaust hot air not just from computer but the living room too

In this location, sun/rain/storm won't kena at all and inaccessible to outside apartment. I plan to add ventilation fan to the window anyway, so might as well build PC there and use the PC fan as exhaust too. I'm just unsure if I should go the route of water cooling or good ol fan cooling.

Here quick picture for a better idea what I have in mind. All hardware just placeholder. This idea can jalan?

Heya folks,

Long story short, I am planning to replace the current fans with AIO kit to maximize the cooling and better performance of the desktop, and wonder if there is a CPU and GPU AIO combo kit, which shared a single pump and radiator, in the market now?

Help Needed To Overclock T9550 On GM965,

Can anyone here help me overclock T9550 because I BSEL mod(downclock) it to run in GM965 chipset? Without overclocking it, it will only runs 2GHZ while the stock speed is 2.66GHZ. My best try is using throttlestop to Dual IDA it to 2.09GHZ.

Laptop Name:Dell Inspiron 1420

OS:Windows 10

RAM:Kingston 2x2GB DDR2 PC2-6400s

I would like to overclock it to it's stock speed(2.66GHZ) or even 3GHZ.I bought the CPU by accident (thinking it will downclock automatically) and will bought 800FSB CPUs if I know it isn't compatible so please don't advise me buying new CPU Please note that I am asking for help in several other websites but i only post this in other website after that website's people didn't reply for one week(so don't accuse me for spam-like cross posting)

Every help is very appreciated by me.Thanks!

Where to get a GPU at MSRP in Malaysia?,

I see in America people can line up at pc shops or wait for official online shop to restock then buy their GPU at original MSRP instead of buying from scalpers.

But do we have something like that in Malaysia? Would love to upgrade my old GTX750 but all I see in Shoppee & Lazada are scalpers prices up to 12k for just a RTX 3070.

Also does anyone know where I can find the official MSRP for GPUs in malaysia?

Performance RAM for laptop?,

There are some performance RAM being sold for laptops. Just wondering is there any reason to get them as we do not usually overclock laptops.

Also, if it's mixed with existing RAM on the latop, will there be any problem?

I am thinking of getting it purely due to the fact it is same price as normal ram. Or better to just get normal laptop RAM?

Best budget case for air cooling?,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm looking to buy a new case because my old case has solid front panel which is bad for my pc airflow and also because my window is facing the sun my room temperature can get quite high sometimes. So can someone recommend me a good budget air cooling case around RM200-300? (Preferably a white case if possible to match my setup. 😅) Thanks in advance.

I tried to look up online but most of the recommended cases I found are not available in Malaysia

RX470 / RX570 OC and Undervolt, Any RX470/570 owner here?

Hi, I just found back to old RX470 in storage box and currently using it for my ITX cheapo gaming build.

Anyone here still using this old GPU that still performs really well for 1080p? Willing to share your OC, undervolt and benchmark scores?

My aim is to get the best peformance out of it while maintaining low temperatures.

So far, this is my best setting for Sapphire Nitro RX470 OC+ 8GB setting (Overclocked and Undervolted)

Core - 1350Mhz @ 1015mv
Memory - 2000Mhz @ 800mv

Heaven benchmark (Firestrike) - 14,300 Points for Graphics.

GPU Temps (Kraken G12 + Thermaltake Water Performer C 3.0 AIO w/ push-pull config)

Idle - 28 - 29c
Benchmark - 49c (max temp recorded)

The RX470 using at most, 95W during Firestrike and Timespy benchmark, hovering around 40W - 55W during gaming.

Good enough? Definitely, I do not want to mess with my new build.

There are so many items on google regarding voltages etc. However, I am unable to find any solid guidelines.

I prefer to clock my i510600k to 5Ghz.

I am running my system on a Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Elite AC motherboard with the cooler master MA610P CPU cooler. In addition, I have 16 GB Ram 3200 (8x2).

looking forward to some ideas, please.

Thanks.

Overcloking Ryzen 3700x, Can somebody help me to overclock?

Hi. I’m currently using 3700x with asus tuf x570 plus wifi. Been overcloking my past with cpu by adjusting the core ratio and volt.

With this new motherboard I don’t quite understand the bios setting. Cause got vddcr cpu volt and vddcr soc volt. From what I understand is soc volt cannot more than 1.1v is it right ? Then I manage to overclock it by adjusting the volt to 1.2347v at 4.3Ghz with soc volt at 1.1v. Did cinebench r20 5 times and all stable with score 4500 ish. But when I run prime95, got some error which is the core stopped working. Got like 4-5 core.

Im asking for help here is because my temp always spiking with stock setting. Reapplied thermal paste and the temp is still high. Just when I startup the windows, the temp directly jump to 70 and down to 48-50+ and spike. So alang2 overclock terus since my nzxt cam showing that it auto boost to 4.3 ish Ghz.

So if anyone can help me and explain me in detail I would appreciate it as I’m new to overclock. Just wanna maximize my fps
Alright lyn,
this time around I’ll show you a quick guide on how I UnderVolt (&OverClock) my RTX3080

Tools required: MSI Afterburner (including RivaTunerStatisticServer (download))
Heaven Benchmark (download)

1)	Before you start you want to enable voltage monitoring in Afterburners settings

2)	Pull the power limit slider all way to the right, no harm doing so.
It's easier to set everything the card while in idle, however you will loose some clock steps during boost as temperature rises.
If you redo the curve at a later point, do it after the card cooled down and is in idle state again.

3)	Open the curve by clicking the small item next to Core Clock or just hit CLRT+F.

On the abscissa you see the cards voltage points. The ordinate shows you the clocks. The dotted line is indicating your current combination of the two.

Ampere, just like its predecessors, is clocking in 15MHz steps and is losing a clock step every 10 °C (Example: if you later set 1920MHz or 1934MHz, it will both end up on 1920MHz. 1935MHz would be the next step.)

4)	My default starting point for my RTX 3080 is 856mV @ 1920MHz.
To do this select the voltage point at 856mV (just click it, do not move it!) then hold SHIFT and pull the point up until you reach 1920MHz, you will notice that you have moved the entire curve. If only one point moved, you forgot SHIFT.
Note I selected 856mV on the abscissa and pulled the entire curve up until I reached a point between 1920 and 1934 which is 1929 here.

Other points I like to use are 800mV @ 1845MHz & 750mV @ 1710MHz.

5)	Now you select all points AFTER 856mV together, which is 862mV+. To do so 1) Move your mouse below (NOT ON) the 862mV 2) Hold SHIFT 3) Hold the left mouse button and pull it all the way to the right. 4) Release SHIFT 5) Pull all of these points down together. the highest point of the selected part must be below 1920MHz for this to work.

6)	Confirm by hitting the apply setting hook. The curve will then change to this:

Done.

Useful info:
If there are two or more voltage points on the same frequency, always select the leftmost. The one after will be ignored by the card anyways.

(Explanation: if the card boosts UP the leftmost point is selected, if the card clocks DOWN the rightmost is selected.)

7)	Now run Heaven Benchmark. If any sign of instability either chose a higher voltage point for the same frequency or choose a lower frequency for the same voltage point.
Whenever you adjust the curve just start off by resetting, adjusting the power limit again n start over setting a new curve, this avoid issue that will happen by adjusting an earlier curve.
Just try to work out the maximum frequency you can run without running into freezes, crashes or just seeing fragments, ….

The whole point of this curve is having control over the max voltage the card will use while ‘locking’ it to a certain voltage at this point. The card won't exceed the set voltage point.
The only parameter you can not control is temperature (and possible clock drops because of it) but since we are setting the curve during the card is heated, the effects of these should be marginal.

You always want to confirm stability of the card in games you play.

Happy curve editing and testing!

•	Should you be wondering what your cards power limit and ACTUAL draws are (you could use RivaTuner, too) you can do the following.
Locate nvidia-smi.exe on your system. CMD in that directory with the command: \nvidia-smi.exe -q -d power

Disclaimer, this guide is written by me as a basic guideline teaching you how to OC your Nvidia card efficiently.
I am not liable for any damages. Please be cautious with what you do.
