Unable to play Unifi and Tonton apps,

hvveein — Fri, 18 Sep 2026 11:29:46 +0800

I purchased Megra TV several years back and recently I would like to install Tonton and UNIFI apps on the Megra TV (mainly to watch local channel), however after I installed and logged in, the message " Unable to play on a jailbroken or rooted device" appeared. I have reset the TV but the same issue still persists.

The model of the Megra TV is D50KY11. Anyone knows what is the issue? Or any other apps which can play local channels (I tried some live stream apps but always have issue when playing 8TV)?

pureawesomeness — Wed, 17 Jun 2026 14:57:23 +0800

Currently astro subscriber. plan to cancel cos rtm gona stop broadcasting on astro. Plan to switch to Unifi TV.

Can Unifi TV work with WiFi only?
And why is it so cheap? Only RM12 for star pack? All my favourite channels I watch on Astro are in this Star pack.

Any service interruption? Like is it a reliable replacement for astro?

HELP: Unifi new black tv box not connecting?, I use the LAN cable connect no work.

StephMujan — Wed, 15 Oct 2025 12:08:47 +0800

So TM sent me the new unifi plus black box and messaged me to install myself.

I just unplug all cable from old unifi white box and connect to new unifi black box.

Should be easy right?

But it gives me this message "Your ethernet cannot reach internet."

What is the problem?

If I connect back to the old white box, no issue.

Do I need configure/change anything in my router ka?

Or this new black box can only connect using Wifi?

4K EPL on sooka stick?, Anyone?

alexlim_88 — Fri, 08 Nov 2024 16:15:46 +0800

Hi I wanna buy sooka stick just for the 4k epl content.

I read that some people got the web version but face lagging issue during watching big matches (eg Liverpool vs Man Utd).

Anyone bought the stick and watch the 4k football content? I'm OK with the 1-2 mins delay but definitely not ok with lag since I paid for the service.

Thanks~!

Why Media Prima channels on Astro are not in HD?,

KeyMochi — Thu, 19 Sep 2024 12:24:08 +0800

Not sure if this has been asked multiple times but why channels like TV3, TV8 and TV9 on Astro Ultra are still in SD while on Unifi TV the quality is night and day? Kinda regret for switching to Astro.

Any idea will these channels get the HD treatment?
