Specific volume/noti settings upon location, location/wifi/qr/nfc profiles

Hi,

I have searched and couldn't find this specific function.

Would like to know if there is a function where we can pre-set certain notification settings to be activated via location / Wifi connection / QR scan / NFC scan.

Example(s):

arrived in office and connected to wifi, android phone detects that the office wifi is connected and will put itself into "Work profile" e.g. phone volume preset at certain volume, only certain notifications will trigger.

What is the difference between "This and future events" and "All events in series" when editing or deleting calendar events? I dont notice any difference when selecting either option.

Hi, there is this SIM Toolkit app that is installed in my phone after inserting a travel sim. Unable to uninstall or disable the app even after removing the travel sim. Worried that it might be a phising app. Any idea how to uninstall the app? Thanks

Today I found some weird apps in my mom's tablet. One is a game, two idiom apps in Chinese and another one is some kind of loan money app...

The only thing she does with the tablet is surf YouTube. Is it possible those things came from accidental clicks on the ads there? I tried poking around the YouTube on her tablet but couldn't find any ads to test. I'm sure I've seen those around before, but they never appear when I want it to. I don't use the app myself, since I prefer desktop PC so I'm not 100% sure on that.

Can anyone shed some light on this? She doesn't surf the play store so I'm sure she didn't install it herself. All she does is YouTube.

Installing Google Play in China Rom Samsung Tab, Tried flashing all required with Odin

Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 with S-Pen (SM-P583) with China ROM latest (P583ZCS3CTJ1) that i just bought from a seller in carousell.
Originally, the tablet has been installed with LienageOs with Android 11 when i received it from the seller. It also has the google play.
Unfortunately, it lost the air command functions for S-pen. I can't also install samsung notes. I wish to have back the s-pen function back, so flashed back to stock china rom which doesn't have google play.
I'm already used to the air-command and s-pen features.

I've successfully flashed TWRP recovery (twrp-3.7.0_9-0-gtanotexlwifi-unofficial-20240221-b3-) with Odin 3.0.
I've also downloaded GApps (open_gapps-arm-8.1-pico-20220215).
The problem i've been having is i don't get how to copy or save the GApps zip file in the internal storage, thus i used sd card and otg drive to flash it in TWRP.
After flashing and rebooting, it stuck in the Samsung Logo and restarting.
What i did is go back to flash to the stock rom.

Anything that i might have done wrong? Or wrong files?

I hope to be able to maintain the original rom while having google services and google play.

Your opinion is very much appreciated.

Need advice. Phone was hacked / remotely accessed,

Discovered that last week my phone was remotely controlled / hacked. The hacker intentionally left evidence that he entered my phone, like saving a screenshot and making a shopee purchase (that was later cancelled as it was not paid).

Not sure what else he did on my phone.

Need advice. What should I do now to secure my phone? I looked through my apps list and didn't find anything suspicious. Also, there doesn't seem to be suspicious data usage during that period when he accessed my phone.

I downloaded a bunch of anti-malware / anti-spyware apps and scanned my phone, but nothing came up.

I am thinking of changing passwords for my more important accounts like google and such, and I am concerned he may have installed something on my phone to capture what I key in (maybe that's why he left evidence that he entered my phone.. to prompt password change).

The nuclear option would be to factory reset my phone but at the moment, there are some important work-related apps on my phone that makes that difficult.

Also, I read that my sim may also be compromised. Should I change to a new sim?

Meitu is very gray on vip and svip plans.
After subscribing to vip plan, it still says I've exhausted this month's usage when i want to use image quality feature although i haven't use at all.

Have you experienced when you click 'back' button, the phone always bring you to the main page..?

Like for instance in FB, you search for something, and the FB list down the related list, you click the first top in the list, but when you want to return to the main list and you click 'back', you are not returned to the main list but directly to the main page..

How to solve this thing ya?

Hello all.

I hv been a hardcore user of this app called Apmemo. Liked it so much, I even bought the app. Its just a simple app where you can scribble and set alarm/reminder. Very useful for me. I can't find the app in playstore anymore. Not sure what happen.

Since I'm changing to a new phone, is there anyway I can transfer the app to new phone? Or is there any other similar app?
