Maxis Family Plan 299 - pathetic 30Mbps Home Fibre,

CelcomDigi already upgraded its One Ultra plan (RM300) with 500Mbps Fibre Broadband.

Yet Maxis Family Plan 299 is still stuck with 30Mbps Fibre Broadband.

30Mbps. That is 3 steps down on the Fibre Broadband bandwidth package.

500 > 300 > 100 > 30

You can't even subscribe to 30Mbps now. It does not exist anymore.

So is Maxis going to upgrade its Family plan fibre bandwidth? Or should users port-out to CelcomDigi?

What the actual F* is this garbage, Maxis?! This has to be the most idiotic, half-assed 'event' you’ve ever pulled. It’s a fing joke how little effort you put into this so-called 'giveaway.' Don’t even pretend you care about giving out freebies—this is just a pathetic, lazy scam to spam people. I don’t even want your worthless freebie, but the way you handled this is beyond insulting. If you’re not gonna do it right, then STOP WASTING MY TIME WITH YOUR BULLS SMS SPAM!
Purposely arrange the event during working hours with a limited quantity of 40 pieces per day for 2 days!!! Are you joking? Yes, you are.
Go F yourself. Will be porting out soon. After all, the 5G connection is very unstable for me. I have to constantly switch back to 4G to get a stable connection.

Finished venting.

Unable to connect in Singapore,

Ok, for nearly an hour after I topup the SIM card, it finally got connected! It appear that the either 500GB internet package or the less than RM10 credit was to blame. I don't think it was the low credit cause I had lower credit before and still able to connect to SG telco and receive SMS, also if the low credit is preventing me from 4G/5G connection, why connecting to MY cell towers at north part of SG worked? Somehow Hotlink is banning me from connecting to SG cell tower when the 500GB 30 days period is active. I would probably never buy any hotlink internet package since SG MVNO offer hundreds of GB data to use for both SG and MY--they are both treated as local data usage now. If I can get the bank app to use the phone as digital token, I would ditch this hotlink right away.

[Ignored}After going back to Singapore, the Hotlink SIM could no longer connect to SG telco. I tested it on 2 seperate phones and SIM slots, when at Woodlands or Kranji where MY signal can transmit to SG, I can connect to Hotlink cell tower. This never happen before, I had this for nearly 10 years. could it be Hotlink purposely ban me after I bought the 500GB data package for 30 days? I even waited for the 30 days to expire and the active validity runs out, then topup to see anything change. NO! still unable to connect to any Singapore telco.

Can Hotlink CSO tell me what's going on? This is unacceptable, I need the phone number for CC transaction SMS, otherwise I would have ditch this SIM to the bin. [/ignore]

Maxis Zerolution Frame TV,

Hello everyone. I am interested in getting the 65'' Frame TV from Zerolution. However, the website just says Frame TV, with no other specifications for the TV. Since there are model revisions almost every year, I just want to find out what model they sell and its specifications.

Has anyone here purchased the TV from Maxis before or have knowledge about which model they sell? I don't want to end up getting an older model. Thank you.

Why does Zerolution have device return policy?, I thought installment plan?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of upgrading to a new phone and thinking to get it under the Zerolution plan since I already have Maxis family plan with Share 48 share lines which are eligible.

But looking at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-condition...act/zerolution/, there's a device return policy.

So is it a leasing plan and not ownership scheme? I thought only Zerolution360 is leasing scheme. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Would like to ask, for the Maxis RM89 15 days roaming pass across UK and European countries, do we need to fix it to a specific telco when roaming at each country? Coz in the Maxis app, I see they did list out the telcos for each country. So would like to know, will Maxis SIM card automatically connect to those specific telcos? Or we need to do it manually?

Thanks
Maxis Account Refund,

Last month I have port out from Maxis Postpaid and change to Hotlink Postpaid. I paid my zerolution device remaining balance & non return charge. Previously there’s a device advance payment of 2k in the Maxis Postpaid account so I had requested refund. Since then there’s no response from Maxis.

Today I tried again (worrying I filled in the request wrongly) but I got the prompt shown in the picture below…

I contacted Maxis Call Centre, they said I am currently Hotlink user thus they transferme to Hotlink Customer Line. But now Hotlink said they can’t check Maxis account and will call me back after investigate.

I am so confused right now…

Why does Maxis dealer need to cheat?, Gentel Communications The Starling Mall

Really bad experience I had, Maxis dealer at The Starling Mall Damansara Utama named Gentel Communications Sdn Bhd.

I wanted to sign up an iPhone Maxis plan, for peace of mind I wanted to sign it up directly with a Maxis Centre. I saw a Maxis store at the Starling Mall Damansara so I went in and enquire.

This Maxis dealer falsely claimed they are not a dealer, but instead is a Maxis Centre. Asked many time and being told they are Maxis Centre not a dealer, telling me stories that they have taken up the store used to be a dealer and Maxis website havent updated their status as Maxis Centre yet.

Better yet then they forced me to take up RM 299 for extended warranty, as this is mandatory for any iPhone purchase through Maxis Centre.

After being convinced and swiped my credit card, I couldnt get a receipt from Maxis. That was when dispute started, I questioned them why couldn’t I get a receipt from Maxis since they are Maxis Centre? That was when it was revealed that they were “Gentel Communications Sdn Bhd”, and when I started recording the video below.

Such a horrible experience being cheated on.

[YOUTUBE https://youtu.be/QxsiMFooWNM?]
