I am using samsung phone that able to lock specific band

currently using Yes 5G postpaid plan, able to see Yes5G Advanced on my phone.

Hotlink Prepaid - HotlinkMU - RAYA 500, Got speed limit for RAYA 500 passes?

First time I really checked on the festival passes of HotlinkMU, look like the passes got speed limit applied even though not mentioned.
Tonight just buy the HotlinkMU passes for RAYA 500 --> 15GB+500GB @RM3 valid for 3days. I use it in Tenda modem.
About 15-20M speed limit, tested by fast.com

So, be careful if you use modem and shared by many devices, 20M really not good and not enough speed for more than 2 devices used simultaneously right? 🤔

SingTel prepaid data roaming in Malaysia, Daily FUP / Throttling?

Hi all,

Can anyone using Singtel data roaming in Malaysia advise me?

I have had this SingTel prepaid sim for a while now and I just realised they have this data deal which allows for 250GB data in SG and another 250GB roaming data in MY, for SGD15. I subscribed to it a few days back.

Speeds was initially great, roaming on Maxis 5G, but after a few hours, it would drop to 1Mbps. I get the impression I am being throttled because the speedtest speed and "needle" would start off to a high speed before rapidly falling to 1Mbps. I tried changing the roaming partner to CelcomDiGi, but to no different outcome. My roaming data still has more than 240GB left.

Anyone else experiencing this?

right now im using postpaid now im thinking of using prepaid since i dont use much. im thinking of converting my celcom to prepaid.
so im thinking about spending rm40 each month celcmdigi prepaid uv. kinda forgot how prepaid work if i use rm10 and still have rm30 left will i gain rm40+30 the next time i topup? how long the time i have for top up and on how long before the top up expire. and how long the service discontnued after that.

so long dont use top up already..i think last time maybe at 2016.

As a recap: currently, these telcos still provide it (all same, RM30 for 180 days with hotspot):

Type A: No need for student ID verification:

1. Hotlink: 30GB @ 3Mbps

2. Unifi Mobile: 30GB (no speed limit)

3. U-Mobile: 30GB (no speed limit)

Type B: Must verify student status with telco:

1. CelcomDigi Blue/Yellow: 30GB (no speed limit)

2. Yes: 30GB+30GB @ 7Mbps, unlimited call+SMS (between Yes numbers)

How's your experience with the launched CelcomDigi app that was meant to depecrate both CelcomLife and MyDigi app? From the main CelcomDigi thread, from my conjecture, it was a hit or miss. Some were seamless, some were buggy. The bugs consist of eKYC, absence of Box of Surprise among other things. For my situation, not only do I not have BOS, I can't "check-in" daily to earn reward at all. My "For you" section has one card and one card only, the top travel card with 3 buttons, namely "Roaming Passes, PH Calendar 2025 and Currency Converter"

I've submitted a ticket 2 days ago that is still in progress as of now.

I think the delay in resolution is expected, if worst comes to worst that they straight up dismiss my ticket and mark my case as resolved without even actually trying to solve it, I won't be surprised, I am used to big corps redtape at this point.

Come share your stories regarding the app itself.

hi all, for the UHome 5G subscription, I want to terminate it on 1st of December, i have cleared all latest payment, but the Usage Expiry Date is 14 December. So can i go to headquarter to terminate now? Or need to wait until 14 Dec only terminate? I don't want to kena charge for usage fee for December. Any advice? Thanks for help.

I called 100 just now and it says out of business hours. Aren't support supposed to be 24/7?
Then I tried Easyfix to create ticket online but greeted with blank screen after clicking the Create ticket button.

Currently using Digi but find that the signal is not good. Data is slow.

Can anyone recommend a service provide that have good service in this area? Mostly using for voice calls. Occasionally will be using WhatsApp (voice call).

Why it is so hard to find a burner number in malaysia? Even when you try to buy a cheap SIM card, you are required to provide your ID for verification. Buying from shopee also need ID verification. Using VoIP services mostly needed from US, UK or Canada like GoogleVoice or TextNow. I just dont want to give my personal numbers for stuffs like Google Verification or Youtube account verification. Its so annoying.

fibre transfer request, really take more than 4 days?

Hi all, recently I have to request to fibre transfer request from Maxis to Astro since 13 October.
Now already 22 October no Maxis representative contact me about transfer request, when ask to astro the request is still pending.
it says will take 4 working days for transfer request, but now already 7 working days why so slow . Anyone has any experience with fibre request and how long it will take. Possible if I report to any agency about slowness of the service?

How do I stop Astro calling to try to get me to sign up for their Internet?
I tried ignoring them for weeks, still got 4 or 5 calls (unanswered) every week.
Decided to answer, told them still on TM plan, cannot cancel. They did hang up.
A few days later, call again! Ignored.
Annoyed!
Don't tell me to cancel, I use their services and channels and am happy with it and I don't want the hassle etc of pirate boxes.
