Received a number of these calls today alone.

If you answer the call, there is an automated voice that says "Goodbye" and hangs up. Nothing else.

There were also a few other times I just didn't pick up.

Nowadays if I answer an unknown number, I just pick up and stay silent to see what will happen... Still feels really dodgy.

This property agent is abit of an ass.. when I ask him where he got my contact from, he refuse to say and blamed me sign up for his project which I know nothing of and want looking for any property.

When I call him out lying, he actually signed up my number with all other property projects randomly and I got spammed by more agents..

How to teach him a lesson ah

Prerecorded call is made by machine. Telling you that your TNB bill was unpaid and will be electricity will be disconnected. And the line will pass to a "customer service."

If you did not make any noise after 2 cycles of the recorded message, the call will be disconnected.

As usual it is a voice activated call. If you keep silent for 15 seconds, call will be terminated. If you hello, the call will be transferred to an operator.

They will identify their name. In this case the operator call name was Kamarul from TnG.
He says their cawagan Perak has identified my TnG account was banked in money illegally @ money laundering.

The rest you can guess the similar MO, will transfer call to PDRM to assist and such.

Was working and no time to play with them.

Auto answer with pre recorded real human voice. A female voice with Filipino accent immediately talks. If you do not talk back within 5 seconds, the call is terminated. The older system waits for 10 seconds and uses a computer generated voice. Seems like they are impatient now.

Details :

It is prerecorded (real person) that says you have a pre approved payment and can message them back at the above number.

Caller is female & has Philippines tone in voice. It is pre recorded voice. It answers directly without needed a machine pause. The call automatically disconnects after the message and expects you to message them, via chat clients or SMS.
