Ok guys, if you've bought the game at launch like me and hated it or read about how it was at launch, i m pretty sure that you know D4 bad.

the devs were arrogant and refused to listen to the feedback that the passionate community gave freely. but now they've humbled themselves and listened to feedback D4 is seriously good right now.

if you own the game, you seriously should come back and try out how the game is like right now.

if you're new you still have an option, in fact a better option than what most of the older players had.

you can actually go on steam and "buy" the game there. steam has a very lenient 2 hour full refund policy.

in a sense its a very strict policy because even blizzard has to abide by this policy.

i've refunded a huge number of games on steam before. as long as you dont hit the 2 hour mark, you can easily refund it.

thus, you can buy the game, try it for 1 hour plus, see if you like it. if you dont, simply refund it.

oh and you also have the option to skip the campaign now.

for the older players that own d4 on bnet, blizz is being shitty by not allowing us to port over to steam as they treat steam as a "different console".

anyway, a NEW EXPANSION has been announced with a new class

along with the expansion base game players are now given free pet dogs that follow you around and automatically collect gold/material loot for you. (LIVE in base game right now) but you need to go to town and complete a small quest to claim the good boi.

Update
Today I got scammed by a dumb ass method. I lost a Um rune during a trade. Anyway it's just a Um Rune and it's my fault for not knowing the Actual Horadric recipe.
Therefore I'll post all the scam method I know below to warn you guys on how to not get scammed.

Scam method

1) Non socket Superior ETH weapon/armor etc will not work with the Horadric Cube Socket recipe.
1 Ral Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon = Socketed Weapon of same type
So item is worthless.

2) Know how much your item worth. If unsure, do ask for price check through discord or here. We will try to help

3) Runes like Zod & Cham have lower value compate to Jah, Ber, Lo or Ohm. So don't get scammed by ppl saying zod for your 2 ber/jah/Lo. Zod & Cham mostly people will trade for even a Vex rune.

Hi guys, i have stopped playing for quite a few years. Yesterday decided to dl the game and start fresh again while waiting for D4 to come out.

Few question i hope you guys can answer me.

1) Worth it to get the necro expansion? (if not mistaken only USD 9.99)
2) I have a few char at lvl70 already and with 400+ paragon lvls
3) Should i just start fresh in season and finish the story 1 time, then just grind grift at adventure mode until 70? (thats what i read in guides)

Darkening of Tristram has just started. Can I know the butcher pet can only get if i 1) use a lvl 1 character and kill Diablo or 2) i start the event with a lvl 1 and work up lvl til i kill Diablo?

if option 1, does that mean i cannot lvl up thru the event?

I know noob question but I havent start the event yet so like to make sure before i start. Thanks for any help.

1. First, do the weekly challenge, beat it. Enter your seasonal game, claim challenge reward at level one. Huge early cash/materials boost.

2. From there I just look up a leveling guide and do rifts until 70. At some point (like once I get a legendary worth cubing) I'll go snag the cube and do a round of bounties as that's one of the first things required by the season journey.

3. Once you hit 70 it should take you like 20 minutes to get the first Haedrig's Gift, tops. Look up a 2-piece build and roll with it. 4 piece should be quick and easy as well, and usually a big power bump. Getting the last two is the hardest as you'll have to beat a GR20 solo. This is still generally not difficult.

4. Once you've got your set find a 6-pc starter build and start running rifts for keys. If you die your difficulty is set too high. If it's taking longer than ten minutes - too high. Look up which gems the most popular builds for your class use and work on levelling them all, or at least the ones you may try, up to 25.

5. Run another round or two of bounties to get all your gem recipes.

6. Use Kadala for armor pieces.
Upgrade rare weapons to get the ones you need.
Pray to the RNG gods for good jewelry to drop.

Look up a complete build you want to aim for and start working toward it. Wardrobe your starter build in case you don't have enough pieces to make the complete build effective yet.

Alternate between rifts and greater rifts while you level legendary gems and farm regular ones. You want to power creep until you can solo a GR70 at which point primal ancients unlock to drop. In fact I believe this season, one automatically drops upon beating the GR70 boss.
