Which other credit card do you pair your Maybank 2 card with? Since the cash back for the MB 2 card only can use on weekend.

Preferbally something with no cc fee or can be easily waived

Was looking at the PB Quantum but it has been max nerfed

Other than the high Debt Service Ratio, any idea why the person's CC application with a third bank got rejected? Payments are all on time (i.e. all 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0)
Salary more than enough for a Gold card, but no idea on other details for example employment duration or anything else.

hi. newbie question. long time only have 1 card. now planning to change to new card. so lemme get this straight...

i have 1k outstanding in card 1.
so i submit balance transfer of 1k from card 1 to card 2.
once success, card 1 is now fully paid.
so now i can just continue pay in card 2.

Hi guys,

Recently, it has been a year since I started working and decided that I want to apply for a credit card in Malaysia.
Currently, I've only been using a supplementary card tied to my parents.
My expenses mostly consist of dining out, fuel and occasional shopping (in store and online).

I'm looking for a credit card with the strikes a best balance of the following rewards in no particular order.
1) Sign Up Bonus
2) Perks and Benefits (Eg: Deals/Cashback/Points/Miles)
3) Annual fees

I'm not particularly worried about interest rate as I do not have many commitments for the time being and should be able to pay off my debts within the month without issue for now.
Please provide some recommendations on which Credit card for which I should apply for.

Also, it would be great if advise is given on methods for applying for the credit cards.
(I kept seeing rewards for signing up through RinggitPlus and CompareHero, wondering if it makes sense to apply through them)

Today I went to Petron station and wave my Public Visa Gold for petrol RM 50 in the cashier counter, then I go back to pump, cannot finish only used RM 40, I check my app they charged me RM 50, but it's in unposted transaction, will they refund me the RM 10 back? Just curious how much cashback did you earn last year across all your cards?

If you can share the breakdown by card, that'd be much appreciated.

For me, as follows:

RHB Shell Visa: RM1,023 (No annual fee)
HLB Wise Visa: RM424 (RM98 annual fee - cashback from Feb 2022 onwards)
Citibank Cashback: RM31 (No annual fee - cashback for Jan 2022 only as card was then cancelled)
Total = RM1,478

No "pseudo" transactions (e.g. top up ewallet then transfer to bank account)

I'm looking for prepaid card recommendations for seniors to make contactless payments and ringgitplus didn't have a section on prepaids/virtual cards.
Some plusses would be low or no annual payments. So far I've seen Maybank, Aeon, Bigpay. Any recommendations on this 3?

Also are there any virtual prepaid/credit cards that do not need a salary requirement other than gopayz? Anyone used gopayz?

So I have a question about Bank of China (Malaysia) Great Wall Prepaid Card.

1. Can I use that card for Alipay and WeChat Pay? I mean, link Great Wall Prepaid Card into Alipay and WeChat Pay, especially the ones with Yuan currency (dragon ones) for pay the Bilibili, Weibo or youku subscriptions in proper subscription fee.

2. Is it possible to top up Great Wall Prepaid Card using other bank transfer (Duitnow transfer/Interbank GIRO)? I saw that on terms and conditions but I'm not sure if it was true or not.

3. If I'm using yuan currency version of that prepaid card (dragon ones) to pay streaming services from China in yuan currency, will it charge extra currency conversion fee? Any ideas?

I had to get those questions answered before I want to apply for it because I have Alipay but when using my current debit card on Alipay not all merchants online can accept my current debit card through Alipay (it shows International Card not accepted on merchants through alipay).

Hi all, I'm sure most of the airmails junkies out there are aware of Maybank's drastic move to devalue their TP to airmiles conversion.

So bad that I think it doesn't make sense anymore to use the Maybankard 2 Premier cards.

Received a SMS:

"RM0:HSBC:MYR5.00 was charged to your card ending XXXX at MINDABLESHOP on 09/08/22. Pls call HSBC if you did not authorise this"

Just find out I had unauthorized transaction from my credit card. But I didn't receive any SMS OTP, or download any suspicious app, so I tried to call customer service. After tried to call HSBC call center, waiting for an hour, no one pick up. Trying to use the chat functions to chat with customer service, oso no reply. Did they stopped operating at their call center ?
