Wadap2 guys. This will be long story short. sorry for broken english.

Scouting in mudah.my . I got something fantastic on my eyes. i purchase imac 24 inch 2007 broken gpu for only RM200 only !!.

The plan is i put good motherboard into this imac. Luckyly i got some Intel Nuc5i7RYH lying around doing nothing. Put some m2 sata and smash osx inside and boom. Dab Baby Dab

Printer PC, An attempt to turn a printer into a PC

Hi Guys, I am Izan. This will be my very first post in lowyat.net. has been lurking around for quite sometimes. I wanna share my submission for Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 18. I just simply converting an old printer into a working PC. For this time, I received some help from Cooler Master Malaysia to complete my project. Thank you CM!!

Its condition was not bad at all. Still working but sadly I am gonna destroy it. Clearing the inside was quite tough. Too many hidden screws. And that was my first time disassembled a printer. I put extra effort to clean the inside due to ink. Washed it with running water for quite a long time, because the ink was like, never stopped coming out from the printer.

Next, I cut through the top, so that the parts inside can be seen through it.

I found someone selling this motherboard with broken PCIe Pin for RM50. Not much choice when the budget was very limited. Just hope for the best that it was still functioning at that time.

Then, I used a board, not sure what type, for the motherboard tray.

Next, I used the same method to mount the PSU. I used brackets to hang curtains for this purpose.

Thank you Cooler Master for sending me Full Modular PSU. V650 was a great replacement for non modular PSU that was in the original plan. Thanks too for sending me awesome CPU Cooler G100M!! The design is indeed unique and good looking.

Minimalist Tower Scratch Build, no bullshit, no disco

Final Size: 202mm width, 714mm height, 397mm depth.
Final Weight: about 12KG include hardware.
Final Damage: I don't want to know... way over MYR600...

The purpose of this build is to make a simple minimalist tower, with emphasis of - height.
And also dealt with dust issue, as previously been using open-air setup for years.
Obviously, I'm not making a disco, or showroom sculpture in my room.

Planning of the build is done as detail as possible in Sketchup, and acrylic panel drawing is sent for laser cutting.
All materials - the aluminum V-slot and it's accessories, as well as laser matte black cut acrylic, are ordered through Taobao China.

The idea of the build is to have mobo flipped 90°, for the purpose of exhausting air up, as well as reducing PCIe GPU weight stress (4 slots thick GPU cooler...).
All I/O are extended to the bottom of the case (except one USB3 for my LTE modem), to ensure no cable dangling down from above like a regular tower did.
The width & depth of the tower is at minimal possible allowed by my existing hardware.
Reusing aluminum casing parts from old Lian-Li T60B test-bench, which includes mobo panel, PSU bracket & HDD cage.

Another important point of this build is, NOT having any screw to secure the panels.
The method is to uses the V-slot cover stripe as clip, adhering it with the acrylic panels with glue.
The aluminum slots also conveniently act as cable channel.

Almost done... got a few more things to fix. Fabricator also forgot the front I/O acrylic panel, or dropped it.
Hardware? Noob hardware nothing fancy to talk about.

What I learnt from this build?

1, think of your cost estimation. Then double that.
2, design acrylic panels with matching "teeth" with each other, to ensure accurate and easy installation & absolute accurate alignment.
3, don't visit PC store for parts, adapter, or cables. Either they don't have, or hella more expensive than super market.

PROJECT : THE BATTLESHIP

Hi everyone.
This is my first ever modding/design for case-mod event. I’am not very good in English so they might have bad spelling and sometimes bad for me to describe something. I will try to give my best to communicate. I try to give the best on my project .

My project description .
Conceptual and reference of my project is about BATTLESHIP 2012(movie). There is reason why I choose this movie. I like the way they create strategy to fight the alien battleship
I will build something similar with alien spaceship from battleship movie.

Idea Development
Sketch and 3d drawing –

Design might changed from time to time ( added and adjustment ) and gpu position will adjust for good viewing.
Machine and equipment
All part of my design will be use multiple type of manufacturing process and also manual making. I will using a wire-cut machine to cut the metal plate and use bending machine to bend the body cover. Part of jaw will be use 3d printing . all touch up and simple part will be use manual. [/center]

A personal project I've been itching to do for quite some time based in my all time favorite case, the Silverstone TJ07 - way ahead of its time in design and modularity ever since its launch in 2006.
We've done a casemod in a TJ11 and it turned out pretty sweet last year - featured in the Nvidia Pascal Launch here in Malaysia. Partly inspired by XForma, Scarf will be an original case mod with
some noticeable elements of its own. This worklog will also be posted on Bit-tech.net where(I hope) I'll be able to compete for Mod of The Month. Like other Emarque builds, this will showcase our
clean workmanship - I'll also be showing here a few extra things you've most probably noticed in previous Emarque builds such as the custom mid-section and dealing with copper tubing.

Massive thanks to Nvidia, EK Waterblocks and Gigabyte for sponsoring this build. You'll be seeing this build in upcoming Nvidia events and also the biggest LAN party in South East Asia, Cyberfusion.

Hi guys it's me again Irie. I am MKalaysia representative for the competition.
Will be working on this Tt Casemod Invitational 2016 S2 and hope i can share something with you guys.
