Fan Hub Question, Need some assistance

I recently purchased 3 x triple pack of lian li p28 fans alongside with noctua NA-FH1 fan hub.

I'm using lian li o11d mini case and planning to do 1 rear fan and 3 top fan mounted at AIO for exhaust and 2 side fans and 3 bottom fans for intake.

Since I can daisy chain lian li fans, Im planning to daisy chain the 4 exhaust fans to the fan hub and daisy chain 5 intake fans to the fan hub as well.

Is this the correct approach? Once connected to the fan hub, the pwm wire to the CPU_FAN header. (this one im not sure)
or the 4 exhaust fans to the CPU_FAN header instead, then the rest is to the CHA_FAN header

Also I'm not sure in this case I need to connect the sata or not?

I draw some diagram of what I thought would work, would appreciate some feedbacks.

first idea

second idea

Asking for comment on layout, Water cooling loop

Hi guys,

I am gonna try my first custom loop for my upcoming build. After CNY got a bit of spare cash to play. I intend to water cool a 7800X3D and this is my first attempt so be kind please:)

The loop I plan looks like what I attached. This is basically similar to a loop in a car as I want to have a drain point at the T junction.

The reservoir I intend to mount at the top of the casing where the top radiator supposed to be. I will 3D print one just for the heck of it. The radiator I intend to mount at the side and it is a cross flow type. I was hoping a layout like this, all the bubbles will always go to the reservoir and the pump is always at the bottom of the loop.

Hoping for feedback. Thanks

Delta FFB1212EH vs Arctic P12 Max Comparison,

Objective of the comparison: Cooling down the 8 HDDs installed in my TrueNAS machine. The case I'm using is a Fractal Design Define R6. I installed 3x Thermalright C12 fan at the front of the case but I noticed the Toshiba MG06 drives were recording temperature of up to 58°C. I want to have my HDDs running below 50°C.

Purchased Delta FFB1212EH for rmb21/each and Arctic P12 Max for rmb57/each.

I connected to the fans to the fan hub on the Fractal Design case and it is then connected to pwm fan header on the motherboard. I set the fan speed to follow a pwm fan curve in BIOS. However, the Delta fan only seem to run at full speed.

Noise Levels (Ambient noise level 52.0dB)
Noise levels are recorded using sound meter application on smartphone next to the machine.
Delta FFB1212EH - Max 66.9dB, average 57.0dB (Video link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/4SUdk1BcrJQ8tiNu7)
Arctic P12 Max - Max 64.6dB, average 52.2dB (Video link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/jnEQv9A5SJt37W2D6)

Temperature Comparison

The graph is showing the delta of the recorded mean temperature above ambient temperature. The fans are swapped and allowed to run for more than 2 hours to stabilized the temperature recorded by TrueNAS.

Summary
Both Delta FFB1212EH and Arctic P12 Max are far superior than the Thermalright C12 fans in terms of airflow and static pressure. The weight of the Delta FFB1212EH and Arctic P12 Max clearly shows that they are using a much more powerful motor. The Thermalright C12 just doesn't have enough static pressure to blow air through the small gaps between the wall of HDDs.

In general, the Delta fans are able to cool better than the Arctic, BUT the difference is not more than 5°C and the Arctic P12 Max is running at only 0.2dB above ambient noise level. The Delta FFB1212EH are running constantly like jet engines, whereas the Arctic P12 Max will occasionally ramp up depending on the CPU temp.
My question is, can I change the cooler type to heatpipe cooler with 2/3 fans, or maybe even use AIO to cool it better?
This ASUS GTX Titan can use which aftermarket heatsink cooler?

Hi guys,

I recently pre-ordered RTX 3800 Gigabyte Gaming OC.

Based on research, gigabyte is known for thermal throttle because of bad thermal pads in the GPU.

So i'm not the brightest in watercooling. I'm looking for advice or service for the following.

1 - Thermal pads replacement for GPU

2 - I'm looking to OC the GPU, i'm planning to get waterblock for the GPU. But i've 20% knowledge about watercooling.
I'm trying to watch youtube videos and checking online.

Can someone recommend me a good kit with pump, valve, connector and tubes without cpu/gpu waterblock.
Preferably AIO.

Regards,
Considering it’s a SFF build with limited space, the listed spec for CPU cooler height for this casing is 83mm.

The H60 AIO cooler Radiator height (27mm) plus Fan height (25mm) is around 52mm, which leaves only 31mm of space available for the pump head or CPU block. I could gain some additional space with slimmer 15mm fan, so it’s going to be very tight.

Or anybody has any other alternative AIO cooler for suggestions to go?

Gaming Temperatures for CPU, GPU, in tropical country

Hey all. I am a noob when it comes to PC Cooling. Would like to check what is the average temperature for CPU & GPU during gaming sessions especially in a tropical country, no air conditioning, just fan in the environment. Most answers i see from the internet are from cooler countries, where their ambient temperatures are already lower.

Should i be worried if it gets up to 70 degrees?
I am using Ryzen 5 2600 and Zotac GTX 2060.
