I'm thinking about buying a new Nintendo Switch, but I'm not sure whether to get the original Switch or the new OLED model. The OLED model is more expensive, but it has a better screen and a few other new features. Is it worth the extra cost? What about the selling value at secondary market, compared to PS5 & XBOX?

I'm not too concerned about having the latest graphics or the most powerful hardware.

What do you guys think? Is the OLED model worth the extra money, or is the original Switch still a good option for casual gamers?

Best Nintendo Switch Collection type game?,

I am thinking to buy Super Mario 3D all stars here, physically lah since digital they pulled the plug already.

Then i wonder, what are the other type of collection that is worth it for the Switch? I also think to myself to buy DMC HD collection so i can play as the wacky devil hunter pizza dude whenever i go but the thing is, the 1st game is avaliable in the cartridge and the others are codes. I doubt if I buy the physical version, the codes are unredemable since it may expire.

LMK your suggestion on best (and worthy) switch games!!

I feel like screaming.

This is the THIRD time I buy a Nintendo Switch (first time jailbroken but messed up UI. second time damaged/dirty, and now settle for secondhand original)

Except now I try to use it and I find out that when I go to eShop tab on the Home page, I get a popup saying "Nintendo eShop cannot currently be used in your country/region.". I go to first tab for Nintendo Switch Online and I get popup message "This application cannot be used with the current country/region setting of your Nintendo Account. View the official Nintendo website for more information about Nintendo Switch Online".

So I go to Settings and try to change region. Everyone on the internet told me wonderful things about how Switch is region-free and playing games is no problem. I change to Europe. Still cannot access. I change to Australia/New Zealand. Still cannot access. I change to The Americas, still cannot access.

I feel like bashing the Switch against my wall. WHY ARE THEY ENTERING OUR MARKET SELLING AN INCOMPLETE PRODUCT THEN??????

Why is Switch so popular here? The prices of physical cartridge game is RM150++. I don't believe everyone is buying at that prices, but I also don't believe everyone is buying a jailbroken system just to play.

What is the solution to this problem? I can't buy legitimate games from the legitimate estore, it's like they want me to pirate their games then. Someone please tell me if you are able to use eShop or what other solution you found??

Can anyone recommend a store or person to contact to mod my Switch Lite to transparent shell (I can provide the shell, or the seller can), and also to replace the LCD screen?

I got a used one for like ~rm200 but its badly scratched at the back and the screen also scratch, no idea how LOL at least it works and is cheap.

I brought out the switch now and were unable to play latest game due to outdated.

Would like some advise, is there any ways to revert modded switch to original so I can update and purchase latest games to play online?

But i am looking out for nintnedo fans to set up a Nintendo related podcast.

so 2-4 of us will talk about Nintendo. i am looking to be specific, for eg. we talk about zelda or metroid but it can be general news topic as well (related to Nintendo)

the thing is, looking for a committed team members, planning to do like a weekly 1 hour session.

ill give like a schedule for the topics that we will use as a reference (but of course any big news that is happening will overtake the planned topic)

Just want to ask, for switch oled, or regular v1/v2/lite switch in general, is the heating going to be an issue in long term after extended hours of playing handheld mode? I noticed it became a bit warm.

If so, do we have third party fan? Maybe in docked mode?
