My beginner photography journey, Lets see how much I can grow

Hi guys, I got inspired by Razgriz's (W_9235) journey and decided to start my own.

All feedbacks and criticism are welcome, helps me improve as a photographer!
At the moment I am still stuck with the crappy image uploader since I'm still P lesen and can't embed from Flickr directly (although do please check out my Flickr from the link in my signature!), so the image quality is probably shit.
Here are some of my latest photos, I'll refrain from including pictures that I took with my iPhone here as I'd like to think that my proper photography journey starts when I got my DSLR.

I'll be going back to Labis this week, and I'll definitely bring my camera with me along with my broken tripod to try some night time photography too!

Visited Cape Town a few times previously for business, loved the serenity and the foods! Pity though my trips to South Africa does not have any encounter with exotic wild animals. Hopefully I can still revisit again soon after covid19.

Today is Thaipusam.

I went to Batu Caves, Malaysia to capture the amazing festivals with my DSLR camera. The blare of the trumpets, the deafening noise of drums, and the chanting of “Murugan'ku arogara!” with a thunderous “vel vel vetri vel”!!!

Spectacular sights and sounds!!!

I wish all devotees a blessed Happy Thaipusam.

Langkawi - The Jewel of Kedah, This is my first time using drone

On July 2019, one of my friend ask me to take some photo around Langkawi. I manage to travel whole week around Langkawi and few island around it.
Just FYI, this is first time I'm using drone and consider as amateur for camera handling. Please do comment on what aspect I need to improve.

The highest freedom is the freedom of mind, freedom to make your own choices, freedom from negative thinking, to let go fears about the future; regrets about the past and to feel and live for this moment now. Shot for Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2014.

I was the top 10 finalist but too bad my verbal presentation skill sucked during that time so didn't manage to get the photographer of the year title. Enjoy! Hope you like this series. (2 photos are shot this year)
