what hobbies are ultra expensive ?

i know AV ppl / audiophiles is an expensive hobby. never ending spending and upgrades and all that what not ranging from speakers to amps to cables all puluh puluh ribu.

i also know car another 1. mods are almost endless, whether for speed, aesthetics or in car entertainment, all also can puluh puluh ribu 1.

only lately i know those kad games board thing might magic pokemon cowkimon dungeon dragon thing not cheap but dunno what is expensive as they say 1 kad can hit ribu ribu also. however i dont think it measures up to those audiophiles and car mod gang type of money. those are like crazy endless bottomless pits wei.

i used to off road bike until kena warning from doctor another 1 more fall then there goes my ankle, so have to give up. i spent i think a total of 50k+ throughout 17 years on my bike last time. 2023 give up all.

now back to become kaki pancing. bought stella 5000 and lately baru upgrade my seaborg 500 to bm 12000 (kambing very soon sudah bayar tunggu delivery). cheap cheap o pass rod and lemax and abu rods. total i think easily hit 20k liao but like my basikal, these numbers carry on for many years unless hilang/curi/kondem la.

all my hobbies compared to those ultra expensive ones are like kacang puteh man. do u guys have expensive hobbies ?
i'm sure got those hobbies mahal gila more than audiophiles and car mods, just cannot think of any right now.

i thinking of buying 3 units for the old folks home in johor. got 2 old folks home i usually support so might as well get something they enjoy. they usually do their morning walks and exercises and then they wish had massager to calm their leg muscles down. ages around 60-80 years old.

today my appointment at 11am nearby my house, so my boss say why not go from your house no need come in first then go.

so i did my morning routine cycle 8km at 6.30am, taruh the laundry into washing mesin. habis makan breakfast and all come back hang clothes. Dry in under 20 minutes.
so i thought ok la got some time, can do 1 more load. so taruh another load, 45 minit cuci habis hang out to dry. mandi cukur play gugu pack my laptop, check on laundry, DRY !

Oneplus 15 china set or global set ?

Am looking to purchase a phone for myself on 11.11 and had my eyes set on the global version of oneplus 15 until it launched and was shocked that the price was around the RM 4k mark as compared with the oneplus 15 with same hardware China set priced under RM 3k.
Am previous user of oneplus 8 pro and was very happy until the phone dropped so many times, green lines appeared, green screen didnt go away. It was just wayyyy too big.

Am wondering what is the actual diff between the china rom oneplus 15 and global rom oneplus 15 ? i think hardware wise no diff. software wise everything diff.
what are the errors or disadvantages of it as the price of the china set oneplus15 is almost halved.
what would i be suffering from if i use the oneplus 15 china set here in malaysia ?

i read in gsmarena that i can easily install google playstore and other google stuff if i use the oneplus 15 china set (color os if i'm not mistaken) and all would be jolly and normal. is it true ?
will i encounter difficulty in obtaining 5g signals as versus the global version ?

the price of the china oneplus 15 is just too enticing to pass up on when compared to the global version, yes i know warranty will be on the difficult side but other than that will i encounter other issues that will arise on daily basis usage ? like signal drops, or diffuclt in 5g signals due to diff bands ?
i also read in the comment section of some forums like xda that china roms need to debloat massively or disabled. flashing a china set to global rom was highly NOT recommended due to difficulty in updates, not sure on this one cause its still new even in xda.

anyone care to share their exp in using china rom oneplus ?

i was also looking at the oneplus 13s/t which i was also considering due to the small 6" size which i like. Any thoughts on this matter as i need to replace 2 phones of mine that are very aged.
i was also comparing it to the xiaomi 17 pro (not pro max) which is around the price range but also china rom as global version not out yet.

so far the oneplus 15 caught my eye as i like the design and big battery. just very unsure about china version oneplus 15 but the price is indeed way cheaper than the global version.
also caught my eye with similar design is the 13s or 13 t. size wise is very attractive. not sure what faults i will encounter as both are not global version, only china and india version.
then there's the 17 pro which also size wise is nice (not the pro max) and the funky rear camera with display. Very unique. Also only china version no global yet and unsure as i've never used any CN sets before so not sure what kind of errors or difficulty i would expect.

Thanks in advance if u guys are willing to share your experience using china sets. Tips and tricks and recommendations are much appreciated. Advice will definitely help me out in more ways than 1.

Any non halal caterer that does for 1st day of CNY

2026 coming soon, need to start my arrangements for CNY.

Looking for (preferable on top priority) non halal caterer to serve at my house in PJ area on the 1st day dinner of CNY 2026.
So far found a few contacts like OTK catering but they havent replied me yet. They also do rental for canopy which will ease my burden of arrangement.
I've managed to call up a few other non halal caterers but some are fully booked for Day 1 CNY dinner and some only begin operations on Day 3 of CNY.

I've also been suggested by my colleagues to go those mix rice shop like S11 and 163 and all and just buy the trays of food from them. But abit of hassle for me as i cant be at my house receiving guests and driving out collecting food and all.

Not gonna do steamboat and those what not self bbq as preparation time is something not on my side.

Catering is the only thing feasible to me at this moment. Headcount also not alot, slightly under 50 pax.

If you know of any caterers (non halal) that does the job regardless serving or buffet tray style or stalls, do let me know and drop the contact here.
