Asking new Axia car owner regarding headlight

Asking for someone who owns a new Axia AV, during the daytime when its bright is the Headlight supposed to be on?

I thought only the daylight should be on not the headlight during bright day. Is this normal or something faulty with the car? Her car headlight is on during bright daytime but daylight not on. Anyone with knowledge of this here, thank you in advance.

I already switch called Honda boon siew and they told me to look outside for it as they dont provide for old cars.
