got call from Genting saying that I become VIP

So today ah I got call from this number, +6019239070 , very reluctant guy ah I didn't pick it up the first time then two hours later he still called me so I decided to answer.

He said that Genting is inviting me to become a VIP member in the upcoming month where I will get free hotel stay at the resort. I don't know why, I went to genting but I don't recall writing down my details (phone number, name etc) in any of the venue there. How did they get my number walaoe.. I told them I'm overseas then they seem to understood and apologized and decided not to continue to call me.

Anyone been getting similar experience?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you who are currently studying there or have atleast visited the campus, can tell me a thing or two about the Uni itself.

I know there is a separate forum for Curtin Uni in lowyat, but most of the people who responded there gave really crappy answers and it doesn't make sense nor what I was looking for originally.

So I would like to know how big the campus is, are the facilities good? the housing, the neighbourhood, the people. Etc etc, anything you know about it please include!

The reason to why im asking this is that I am interested in joining their Petroleum engineering course next year, I know there is UTP but I think the location wise of UTP is rather problematic for me hence Im setting my sights on curtin so I would like you guys who has been there to tell me about it!

Thoughts on Curtin University?

Hey guys,

So I just got an offer from Curtin University last month to study Petroleum Engineering. I would like to know more about Curtin university in Malaysia.

I am interested in the facilities wise, costs and style of living, and the students around there.

Also, Is Curtin Uni a good university to study in? any alumnis out there who has majored in engineering? what are the job prospects and how well are they linked with industries.

Any opinions and thoughts about curtin are welcome as I am keen to know more about it.
