Hi guys would like some advice on the specs below. My budget is around 2.5k and this is what I manage to find. Is it fair?

Personally I am leaning towards RYZEN 3600 and plan to upgrade the GPU when I have more cash in the future.

Bank OTP after Port In

I have recently port in to Maxis from Digi, keeping my original number. After the port in, I cannot receive any Bank TAC code.

Called Telco they told me that I need to update the bank as they need to update the telco. Is this true? Does this mean that if I have 10 banks, I have to manually update each of them in order to receive TAC?

This is stupid.

Illegal Immigrant Crackdown in Kepong

Seems like there was a major operation this morning in Kepong Desa Aman Puri.

Heard that many illegal immigrants (many Africans as that area is notorious for the wrong reason) were nabbed, army involved guarding every possible exits with guns, helicopter circling on top of the apartment for surveillance.

All hail Malaysia police.

Finally a well coordinated operation. Previous ones are not very successful due to police force getting overpowered and outnumbered, illegal immigrants running away, lack of coordination etc.

Apparently the operation is also conducted in Puchong too.

I wonder if many people use this app in Malaysia? This app is basically a paid app that gives you buy 1 free 1 vouchers that you can use at eateries across the country.

I have been using this app since 2018. However for 2019, I noticed that many restaurants are missing from the list already. Example include Tonkatsu Ma Maison, Sepiring, Da-Yung, Wondermama.

Feel cheated already.

I am new to this hence am posting to garner some opinions. I am in the market to get an entry level mechanical gaming keyboard with a budget of around RM200. Is there anything that you guys would recommend?

Just watched the movie in the cinema. Would rate 9/10. Honestly I have never heard of this movie until today, I took a chance and boy it didn’t disappoint. Certainly one of the best movies in 2018.

The action scenes were great, coupled with good acting. The plot wasn’t predictable and the graphics were awesome. There isn’t any romance in the movie if you are asking, it’s 2 hours full of action. If you are a fan of naval warfare this is a movie not to be missed!

Axiata Arena Parking

Recently I went to Axiata Arena for a concert. It was my first time attending a concert at that venue. When I entered the parking for Axiata Arena, I was told that the parking fee increased due to event that night and I was told to pay RM20 for the parking alone. Normal parking fee is merely RM2 only on a normal day if I am not mistaken.

Are they allowed to charge such a fee due to ‘event’ happening at the venue? I wanted to file a complaint to the management but I don’t know where can I start.

Monitor Recommendation

Hi guys,

I am looking to purchase a monitor mainly for watching movies and some light gaming (dota). Budget is around RM500. I have searched all around lazada and shortlisted this two monitors.

LG 24MP58D AND Viewsonic VA2419

There are more reviews on the Viewsonic monitor and most of the reviews are mainly positive except that the design is a bit old and the monitor is kind of bulky.

I could not find any useful reviews on the LG monitor and I am not sure why.

Can anyone help me out here? Much appreciated.

Will be starting on a new job around masjid jamek area next month.

Planning to park at PWTC and take lrt to my workplace. Does anyone here has experience parking at PWTC? From the website it says that parking is RM10 per entry at plaza level 4, may I know where is the entrance?

Or does anyone have better suggestions?

Just days after making Top 4 at The International 6, Filipino Dota 2 star Djardel “Dj” Mampusti has reportedly left Fnatic.

With the new roster lock schedule mandating that teams finalize roster removals on or before Sept. 4, 2016 for the Fall Major, it seems that Dj has left the venerated esports org led by legendary Malaysian carry player Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung.

Sources close to the story have confirmed that Dj is on his way back to the Philippines. Whether this means that the star support will be playing in a Filipino Dota 2 team for the 2016 Fall Majors later this year is still up for speculation.

Dj made a name for himself as the carry player on Team Rave, the Filipino team that made a deep-run in international tilts in 2014 by training in Korea. In 2015, Dj was recruited by Fnatic, where he was instrumental in the team’s highly successful Majors run, culminating in three Top 6 finishes. At The International, Fnatic finished Top 4, earning $1,453,932 or P68 million in prizes.

He is probably waiting for a top team in Philippines to rise and TNC certainly did that in TI6, so that he can return to his native country OR Fnatic is just a stepping stone for him to enter bigger European / NA teams.

Retiree Borrow Money from Bank

Hi,

Can I ask if banks in Malaysia are allowed to offer personal loan to retirees? Is there a law against it? All the while I thought that banks are more stringent in offering personal loans and they can only offer loans to people with regular income. It seems that they are also offering pre-approved loans nowadays.
