fuel gauge problem

Hi guys, im driving my company double cab lorry. Theres a problem with the fuel gauge. Sometimes it shows full tank while it is an empty tank already. Sometimes it acts normally.

Im not sure wether is the meter gauge fault or float in the tank fault or wiring fault.

Please advise.

Compaq presario v3000 service V3839TU

Guys , my fren just bought this V3700 which service is V3839TU. I helped to reformat. All the drivers i installed and is functioning with no problem.

The only problem is the volume button and the mute button at the keyboard. I installed the quick launch driver. it seems can adjust the volume and mute it with the volume and mute button at the keyboard but it cannot control the volume.

Meaning when i press mute. There are still sounds coming out from the speaker. i decrease the volume by pressing the - at the keyboard, the volume control in the window showing decrease but the volume cannot be decreased.

The volume can only be adjusted or muted by using the volume control from the window media player.

Whats the problem?

Guys , my fren laptop is using window xp sp2 .

Recently , my fren's laptop will display errors. There are many errors.

one of them is :helpctr.exe - ordinal not found
The Ordinal 42 cuold not be located in the dynamic link library OLEAUT32.dll.

Whats the problem ?

guys , my computer cannot run photoshop cs3.

my computer spec is intel celeron 2.26, 512md ddr ram , geforce 4 64 mb .

Is my computer spec supporting the cs3?

help with Compaq Presario v3000

Guys , need help with compaq presario v 3000 laptop. My fren is using window xp sp2 on his laptop. Then he reformatted his laptop and install window vista on his laptop. After some times , he try to reformat and reinstall window xp sp2 back to his laptop.

There comes the problem. He try to boot with window xp sp2 disc. After the setup had finished loading all its setup files, it says " Please make sure that the harddrive is properly connected to the computer and any disk related hardware configuration is correct. This may involved running a manufacturer supplied diagnostic or setup program. Setup cannot continue " somesort like that message.

Then he try to boot window vista which is installed in his laptop harddisk previously , nothing happen. It boot smoothly. He try to make some file copying from cd or handy drive to the laptop's harddisk to test wether the the harddisk is having problem. The result is no problem at all.

So guys , what should i do to solve this problem?

Help with Aztech DSL 305E

Guys , im using aztech DSL 305E for almost 2 years. Out of a sudden this afternoon while i try to on this modem , the modem LED for ETH/ACT did not lid up but for DSL and POWER's LED did lid up.

What i had tried:
1) unplug the lan cable from modem and replug
2) unplug the lan cable from cpu network and replug
3) On and off the modem power
4) Reset the modem
5) Bring the modem to friend's house and tried

I had tried all the above method , but the LED for ETH/ACT still doesnt lid up...

Whats the problem? Please Help...

divide bandwidth

guys , im using streamyx 1.5 Mb broadband. i share the broadband with my brother... we r using a d-link 500 G router and switch...

recently , i found that my brother is using some p2p software which uses up all the bandwidth making i cant surf net , chatting and download...

is there any way to divide the bandwidth so that we have equal bandwidth? or any software which can divide the bandwidth?
