Samsung Consumer Rights Malaysia

Updated on 03/01/2013 - Few weeks back, Samsung's VOC Manager from Customer Satisfaction Department HQ got in touch with me. Further to our discussion, she promised for a compensation deemed fit for my case in a week or two. Exactly one week(which is today 03/01/2013), was contacted personally by her goodself again and was informed all the necessary procedures has been done and I should head down to PJ SC for my compensation. Guess what, was exchanged with a Spanking Brand New S3 today. A Big Thank You to Ms. J (name withheld in respect to privacy concerns). Truly appreciate her personal involvement in getting my issues sorted. She has indeed restored my trust in the Samsung Brand name. Samsung is indeed working hard on ensuring consumers are provided best of services.

-You reach the Service Center at 1pm and only to be met with the Customer Care Personnel at 4pm. 3 hours waiting and wasted time.
-You are not informed when your device is ready. When u call the hotline, it's busy most of the time.
-Once you manage to get confirmation that your phone is repaired, you wait again to collect your phone only to realise something else is faulty and told to leave your phone again.
-Again your phone is repaired, bring it home only to realise issue A is resolved and now new issue B is present.

Sounds very familiar ? Enough of consumers being push around. Let's make our voices heard and make our stand !!

We currently planning to gather all Samsung Consumers mainly Samsung Smartphone users in order to submit a official petition and memorandum on the inefficiency of Samsung Service Centre on tackling issues related to Customer/Consumers.
