good first car?

i'm currently surveying for a good first car to buy.
right now, i'm just driving my hand-down bro's myvi lol

i have a basic salary of RM4k+, and i dont know that much about cars haha and been asking family n friends for opinions.

basically i want a first car with a good resale value, as i move on with my career thru the years upgrading
all my friends suggest like honda jazz, honda city, Merc Aclass etc. (i donwan myvi again lol)

what are your opinions?

I've been unemployed for quite some time already

so i've decided to sign up for this Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP) by PSDC
just so i can improve on my resume

it's basically a training program of 6 months for unemployed graduates.
so i'm wondering if anyone know anyone whos been to these things?
and whether or not its worth going?

doesn't seem like a well known program :S

so i've been called up to attend the program in kl for manufacturing process.
i have a chemical engineering degree but have not been lucky enough to land a job yet.

so i decided to signup for this program in the meantime, instead of just staying at home doing nothing.

so wondering if the program is good or not?
what are the disadvantages? if i get a permanent job elsewhere, am i allowed to leave the program? i read somewhere cannot =.=

anyone been to this program can share some insight?

hi i've been selected to attend an assessment day for the SL1M program with sapura kencana.

anyone been to any of these SL1M interviews? how is it like and what to expect?
