Tamron zoom lens

Hi guys and gals,

Has anyone used the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Canon Mount (Tamron Model A022) lens? I'm looking to get one for outdoor wildlife photography.

I'm not a professional photographer, more a hobby when I travel. This will be used with a Canon 80D.

It's quite a hefty lens, so requires a bit of careful handling when travelling. The price has come down a little bit from release about a year and a bit ago.

Link is https://www.tamron.jp/en/product/lenses/a022.html

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks
Travelling in China

Hi All,

What epayment app do you recommend for China? Seems to be Alipay, Tencen (WeChat) or UnionPay, however I've read elsewhere that you need a China-based bank card to "connect" to your account before payments can be made. Is this true?

If anyone has successfully got an app and made payments, please share your experience here. Including ease of use, any security concerns, and language barrier (within the app itself, ie are all the screens and messages in English?)

I'll be using a Samsung phone, so Android app.

Thanks very much.

Funds Transfer (BKK to KL)

Hi all,

Could someone please provide some advice on the best way to transfer money from a Thai bank (Bangkok Bank main HQ office in BKK) to an undecided bank (probably HSBC) in KL?

I've got some funds currently in Bangkok (from a property sale), and wish to bring it across for future investment/property/business needs. Initially will be in FD for 6-12 months until I decide my next course of action with the money. I understand there is a Bangkok Bank branch in KL, not sure if that makes it easier?

Amount about RM500K, I don't want to pay massive amount of transfer fees, or other charges. FOREX differences cannot avoid, but hoping to reduce other bank charges if I can.

Thank you.
