IS Traction Control a "Must" for you ?

As per title, is traction control a "Must" for you when it comes to car selection.

Just put an example, toyota has vsc for mid-level range and above, Honda VSA..even the b-segment Fiesta has it, so for Korean Forte. I am not mentioning about luxury ride which has sophisticated tcs, Mercedes that have BAS, ABC, ASR, EPS and etc..

My answer is "YES", i need it.

Will you consider waja replacement model that equipped with 4B10 1.8 under the hood if price at around rm80k.

DOT 3, 4 5, 5.1 ..Brake oil

hey guys,

Currently my car stated DOT4(PerSona) for brake oil. Using Bosch DOT4..and mix with DOT3(by PESC mechanic)

The reason is i have cooked the brake, OEM proton brake pad & FeRoDo.. plan to change to higher boiling point brake oil..

Question is
a) How many litres do i need in order to Completely flush out?
b) Any effect or downside using 5.1 instead of recommend DOT4? Mine is still using rubber brake hose..

I have read some of the forummers review about brake pad brand, one of the affordable brand is FeRoDo ZeRo..so i have decided to replace the stock brake pad with this FeRoDo

mileage/usage: 0-10k km (6months)
product: Bosch brake pad..proton genuine oem pad

mileage/usage:10-20k km(8months)
product: FeRoDo Zero
comments:
- exhibit some noise, screeching noise ...
- it tends to get overheat, during downhill braking(Genting, balik pulau or spirit driving). Metal burning smells..YEAKKSS..It does not like high temperature as advertised, real disappointed.
- not really peform during cold, it is slightly better under hard braking
- the worst is the edge tear off piece by piece, still can use sand paper to flatten the surface but.. refer pic below(d) decided to throw this away...i

a) FeRoDo Zero and BenDix Titanium stripe..

b) A fresh brake pad should have 0.9-1cm thickness.

c) FeRoDo Zero, still have 65% thickness, equivalent to ~6cm after doing 10k km...

d) Edge tear off ..

Yesterday bought two set of BenDix CT General, one for Waja..one for my PerSona.
mileage/usage: 20kkm - current
product: BenDix CT General(metal king has been discontinued)
Already clocked 200KM so far, no need bedding in as advertised.

My Car Was HIT BY Another Car in PROTON EDAR SC

Happened in PESC C what they did to my SONA

This morning, i reached ProtonEdar SC at 7.40pm and the first customer there , the car was ready for collection on 10.20pm. One service advisor trying to move the car(WAJA) at my back away BUT he Accidentally Crashed into my rear Bumper...a Loud "BAANNGGG" I was so [[Shock]]that the force is so strong, my car push to the front..the gear position is "P" and Handbrake was applied.

Upon checking why he Hit my back, the PE service advisor doesn't Realise the Manual gear stick is on 1st gear.
OMMMFFGGGG, this kind of Mistake is Unforgiveable. Why shouldn't he check the gear is on "N" Neutral?

Ok, nevermind..since the incident already happened. Upon damage inspection, the SC want to repaint the bumper only...After several rounds of negotiating with the help of the Waja Driver. Both of the victims(Waja owner and me) managed to claim a new Bumper. Now waiting for the parts to arrive and repaint.
The bumper surface have some crack line on it already, inner part(i believe there's plastic crack too)...Seal and repaint the bumper doesn't last long Leerr...

I AM NOT HAPPY as it was happened inside the WorkShop, my car has been through complete detailing 2weeks ago. I applied 2Coat of Meguiars No.21 Synthetic Sealant, follow by 2Coat of Meguiars NXT Wax..
Somemore, after market repainting isn't that nice compare to FACTORY paint.The factory paint is Coated in a Clean environment(almost Dust Free) and the paint is heat in very high temperature.

- Where is the 5S, Safety First in the workshop?
- Is PE service advisor/mechanic well trained?
- Does the person has the necessary skillset, i mean Practically Know how to handle a Manual/Auto Tranny properly?Not only pass the exam and theoretically know How to control the 4wheels...
