Semicon job advice needed: frontend vs backend

I am a fresh graduate in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree) currently based in Taiwan. I have received two job offers (both in Taiwan) in the semicon industry but with different job descriptions,
I have a few questions and concerns about future job prospects, and I would like to get your opinion on them:

Job A (Frontend):
Job Title: Digital IC Verification Engineer (Communication Network IC)
Company: Taiwanese IC design company well-known for their PC audio codecs
Basic salary: 84k NTD
Contractual bonus: 1 mth
Performance/variable bonus: ~ 8-12 mths
Job description: Developing IC design verification test plans and test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM.

Job B (Backend):
Job Title: Machine Learning and Statistical Analysis Engineer (Testing)
Company: The largest foundry
Basic salary: 61k NTD
Contractual bonus: 2 mths
Performance/variable bonus: ~ 7-10 mths + additional ~7-10 mths (the latter is received only if you stay for another year)
Job description: Conducting data correlation analysis and developing ML-oriented testing solutions.

1. In Taiwan, there is a consensus that verification jobs are becoming increasingly important and offer better prospects. Is this also the case in MY/SG?

2. If there is a possibility that I would like to return to MY/SG in the future, which job would provide better opportunities? I am aware that backend roles are more predominant in the semiconductor industry in MY.

Clarification: JPA Foreign scholarship for bursary students is no longer available. However, JPA engineering scholarship for Germany, France, Japan and Korea is still available.

刘国南表示，国家奖学金计划赞助20名特优生依据所修的科系到世界十大顶尖大学深造，另外，日本、韩国、法国及德国特别计划则赞助200名特优生修读工程系。
他说，总名额共220名优秀学生获得以上赞助，但2016年大马教育文凭考试考获全科A+的考生只有102人或1.94%，却无法挤此名额当中，其中一人是霹州特优生郑欣怡，实在难以理解。
他促请申请失败的学生最迟于5月2日上网提出上诉，然后再安排呈交副本，他将协助逐一跟进，并转交由马华正副部长关注。

Update 13/5: I got a place into National Chiao Tung University in Electrical and Computer Engineering but I still haven't make my decision on it.

Ranking wise Taiwan will pretty much wipe out the other choices, but I understand that ranking is just a rough estimation of the performance of a university. Furthermore courses in Taiwan uni are conducted mainly in Chinese (although the study materials and textbooks are in english), which doesn't sound good.

Today wholeday my streamyx cannot use so i proceed to check my Innacomm w3400v modem. Surprisingly, the pppoe account is not mine as stated in the monthly bill... Is it possible that I got hacked or that account is the default account for the modem and somehow I triggered a reset when I restart the modem?
Account is arisma66@streamyx. It's also weird if I really got hacked as why will the hacker sign in his account on my modem.

How to deal with inconsiderate roommate? I just woke up freezing because he open the aircond. Same thing happens few days ago AND I already talked to him about this. I'm almost sick because of this. FML.

Well we both agreed not to open aircond normally since we'll get charged additional and our room is already cold enough without it. So I went to bed as usual, with only a shorts. (Usually I sleep early than him.) Then, He fxxxxxx ope aircond without telling me anything. So here am I, wokr up freezing.

How to deal with it?

Please don't ask me why rent an aircond room if I don't want to open it regularly because the fact is it's not an aircond room lol.
This room is advertise with NO AIRCOND. There is aircond because the owner installed it and our college (which rent the unit from the owner) don't have the right to uninstall it. So we agree on opening the aircond will incur extra charge.

The EU also urged the repeal of the Sedition Act, that the National Security Council Bill be withdrawn, and that all legislation be brought in line with international standards on freedom of expression and assembly, and the protection of human rights.

It said Putrajaya should release all political prisoners and drop politically motivated charges, and named PKR de facto chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, cartoonist Zulkiflee Anwar, blogger Khalid Ismath, academic Azmi Sharom, and activists Lena Hendry and Maria Chin Abdullah.

The EU also “deeply deplores the rise of supremacist groups which contribute further to the creation of ethnic tensions” and called the death penalty cruel, inhumane and degrading.

“All these concerns expressed in the European Parliament resolution on Malaysia are not new,” said Sim.

The Bukit Mertajam MP said the opposition and civil society in Malaysia have been fighting an uphill battle against a “regime apathetic to the voice of the people”.
