Hi guys I need some help and advice about this situation..

I was selected for NS last year (2014) for the 3rd Batch to Sibu, Sarawak and the reporting date was August 16. I was taking IGCSE exams that year so I sent in the Borang Penangguhan along with my statement of entry from Sri Emas International. I was entering as independent candidate so I thought that would suffice, since I don't really have a school to get letter from.

After that, I only got letter in December telling me that my request for penangguhan (postponement) was rejected. Then I called JLKN and they told me it was ok, I just needed to send the request again but with the proper documents (which i think they meant a letter from school). Anyway now I have finished IGCSE, and I am waiting to start enrolling into college.

So now how? The next intake is April for my diploma program.

BTW: I am Home school student

Hello sifus.

I'm running Tagan 700w Dual Engine PSU for the following rig and it came with very nice price frm BuckRogers. But it's too big to properly cable manage in my NZXT Lexa S casing and has a worryingly small amount of molex connectors (3+1 dedicated for cd rom)

I'm looking to do uv mod and I'm running a lamptron fc9 which takes 50 watt per channel (4 channels) and the box recommend 600w and above psu.

I need smaller psu... regular atx should be fine.

My rig:

i3 2100 (planning to upgrade to i5 2500k for overclocking)
Asrock z68 pro 3 gen 3
Vapor X 6770
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz (2x4gb)

I also run
Three 120mm delta fans for casing airflow. 4500rpm each.

Been looking around and noticing we don't have a thread for paintjobs..
Looking to do some mild fluorescent painting with my case and disappointed to be unable to find any examples on Lowyat :/ (Except the UV mod thread.. but that's really not what I'm looking for.)
So, please come and post your ideas for painting your cases ^^
Protips will be much appreciated as well!

They don't light up much yet but I'm thinking of giving the interior some exotic two-tone fluorescent or maybe just some white to contrast the black. Also thinking of doing a dash of juvenile fluorescent paint splashing to make it look savage.

Hello!

Looking for powerful fans I for casing that i can use for novelty purpose :]

Vacuum cleaner sound level is fine, but preferably at lowest fan controller settings can be almost quiet.

I'm just looking for raw power to do some crazy things with my casing since i have a Lexa S crafted series with two 120m/140mm mounting space for fans and im gonna make the exhaust go upwards so can float things and do other crazy stuff (perhaps clean dust off stuff and dry stuff? haha!)

Which motherboard? Z77 or Z68?

So I'm gonna get a new mobo and proc for my new build. Already got a 700w PSU and a Vapor X 6770 for a decent gaming/performance build. I'm settling on an i3 2100k for processor and I'm trying to decide between two asrock motherboards. My price target is about 700+ for CPU+motherboard and i know i3 is about 359 + and trying to decide between these two boards :

1. Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3

2. Z77 Extreme 4

Both seem to have similar stats and only difference seems to be the chipset and about RM30 in price.

What do you all sifu think? :]

Bought genuine windows with my comp n planning to reformat soon... Been in use for 3 yrs. it's xp sp3, quite like it and i think 64 bit windows is pretty shitty n i have not much cash to get upgrade... Prefer genuine windows.

Problem is i cant find the cd though i have my license key.

Advice?

I might swap my 560 for a 580 or a twin frozr... but i think my cpu and mobo are seriously outdated.....

Budget is flexible but must be below 1k (processor+mobo)

You can discount the budget from estimated cash from selling my mobo and cpu...

I am complete noob to linux... Windows user all my life (almost all, now got dad's macbook to play with @.@)

I've only seen videos of Linux mint, fedora, and ubuntu, seems really interesting to me and I am one who loves to tinker so I'm thinking of installing linux on an old toshiba satelite laptop... Can anyone help me get started? 多谢多谢~

I've been thinking of reformatting my comp after moving files to a backup drive but i dont wanna uninstall windows and my applications... Besides getting a new computer, is there a way to clean out my windows installed hard disk while keeping the installation or move my windows install to new disk like ssd?
