For MNC, who actually decide the salary, HR or hiring manager?

What was agreed with hiring manager is not the same with what HR is willing to offer. And even my fixed allowance was not taken into consideration by HR, only basic.

Hiring manager is my ex-bos, and knowing him, I dont really trust him and his scheme sometimes, the reason why Im curious about who should have the final word on salary. No issue working with him though.

Loan for building houses

I'm currently weighting the option of buying a house and building my own house. My parents bought a land few years back, and offered me the land if I'm interested to build my own house.

My only issue is the land status is agriculture land aka "tanah pertanian", so cant take house loan. The only loan I know off is personal loan, but the amount provided and the repayment interest + period is the only issue. Do anyone know any other option available if I want to build my own house on agriculture land?

Would it be wise to take personal loan around 100k, with payment period of 10 years (al-rahji bank), and build a small house first, and upgrade in the future if needed? Only me, my wife and incoming little devil in a few months.

Blank screen after windows loading

Since currently I dont have extra pc to test what causing the issue, might as well ask here.

Running radeon 6870, I can see the bios and windows loading screen, then it will go blank/black and restart. Keep on looping till I press the power button. Tested with onboard graphic card, and everything works fine.

Reimage/reformat the computer, everything works fine with both radeon 6870 and onboard gc tested running at 1366x768 resolution, but when I reinstall amd driver (tested 3 different version) and radeon 6870 resolution automatically goes to 1920x1080, the screen goes blank and computer restart, and same issue reoccur.

Is this a sign of dead graphic card? Or might it be caused by psu / mobo pci slot issue? And my default resolution before this happen was at 1920x1080

End Result

Prototype Model:
- Acrylic plate with Aristotle Cherry MX clone
- Poker 2 (60%) layout

Final Result:
- Clearminium (I'm bad at naming, wth)
- Aluminium plate, Cherry MX white ergo (Cherry blue spring)
- Minimize mixture of 60% layout and TKL layout
- USB suspend breathing LED (the only bling bling )

This project was possible thank to weilung, 'the god' 0168257061, hmwgbworld, nemofish, Vasil, matt30, hasu, Robin from PJRC and many more.

This project was inspired after opening up my mechanical keyboard for cleaning. After examining the switch, it hits me that it is possible to build a mechanical keyboard from ground up, without usage of pcb as the switch are similar in concept to normal switches (on - off state). Further googling, I stumble upon matt30 work on his brownfox keyboard here , and decided to use this as a guidelines.

The true advantage of this project is that you can design any kind of keyboard with your own key requirement without limitation of pcb design. This is a test project as I just graduated and being unemployed, there is no budget for custom made switch plate and case, so I'll be using mass produced poker 2 plate and case.

And no, this wont be cheap compared to buying fully manufactured keyboard. Even with cheap switches, plate and case, this project already cost me around RM300++, blame postage fee from m'urica land of the free and europe, and more money needed later on for keycaps (+100 - 200 maybe?) , where you can just buy a brand new Poker 2 keyboard for RM290, and better build quality, I think.

Much suffering, much pain, much hole in wallet, but priceless satisfication of making your own

Part 1: Disassembling switches

The switch donor will be a broken Leo KB-6251 keyboard which I've gotten for USD 1 dollar from ebay thanks to Vasil from K-system Store. The keyboard uses Aristotle Cherry MX clone switch, and from the photo below the biggest different from the german made Cherry MX is that the clone lack LED mounting hole. The white clone switch has similar feel and clicky sound to Cherry MX blue switch.

Not Cherry MX switches, but 100+ switches for USD 1 dollar, no complaint there

Disassembling the switches from original pcb. Further inspection shows sign of water damage to original pcb, I'm guessing the cause of Leo KB-6251 death.
