I already kena self syiok sendiri pressure from my peers (whether the older or same age than me, but around same level positions) to do masters as ALL of them (even people with no proper degree also) managed to do MBA and graduated from it (whether MBA or Executive MBA la)

So I simply cincai applied and got the following conditional offer

However, condition is need to do either

- IELTS (Academic) (UKVI SELT or non-UKVI) Band 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic (UKVI or non-UKVI): 60 overall, with a minimum of 59 in each component
- TOEFL (ibt): 80 overall, with the following minimum scores in each component: Listening: 18 Reading: 19 Speaking: 21 Writing: 21
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 176 overall, with a minimum of 169 in each component
- Oxford Test of English: 131 overall, with a minimum of 121 in each component

Slow Boot Process - After updating chipset driver

Hi sifus,

This is a Lenovo Thinkpad E15 Gen 2;

-AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U
-24GB RAM (8gb soldered, 16gb is 2 dimm)
-Windows 10 Enterprise N LTSC (21H2)
-Bitlocker enabled
-2 SSDs, one stock WD SN530 (240gb) and one ADATA SX8200 (1TB - OS drive)

Ever since I made the mistake of updating my chipset drivers using AMD Adrenaline Software update, I've been having slow boot issues (boot before logon)

After doing a boot trace, found out that there are two culprits, autochk and smss.

I solved autochk by disabling it via registry and via chkntfs command prompt

Now, I don't know how to solve the smss.exe 128 second idle

I tried the following;

DDU - install driver via amd again
DDU - install driver via windows update
sfc/scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
disabling autochk
disable fastboot
custom powerplan - max performance

Also, something peculiar I identified is that the laptop uses max ram during the first 120++ seconds of the boot

Posting here cause the /Security & Privacy sub-forum seems inactive.

Have your god forsaken HR used 3rd party HRMS systems like Info-Tech/AutoCount/Zoho/Clockify/Symphony?

If yes, how was the privacy issues addressed especially in terms of the clock-in/clock-out app harvesting quite a significant amount of device analytics on your phone?

Also, how do you feel that your data is stored in a cloud beyond your country where the 3rd party HRMS can harvest it to resale to say, maybe other employers (medical, salary, attendance record)?

Or am I just being tin-foil paranoid about it?
