Passport renewal, must have new IC type also ?

Hello everyone , I read some comments when we renew passport, the old IC cannot be used, have to change to new IC first is it ( the one with the ghost image ). I'm still holding my old IC renewed more than 15 years back.

Anyone who renewed their passport recently can confirm this ? Renew IC can get on the spot in UTC JPN ?

Hi all,

Seeking opinion, question as above. I will start new work in Singapore in April, my current employer helping me to get CP21 tax clearance.
Suddenly another HR personnel, ask if I still have rental income in Malaysia, then I dont need do CP21, is this correct ?

Thus mean I will continue to submit tax just stating my rental income ? Its about 45k per annum , and how do i declare it - as non tax residence , then 30% of my rental goes to tax

Home loan interest paid lesser Covid moratorium

In the past years, when declaring rental income, i usually refer the bank annual loan statement and deduct the interest charged for the year.

However, for 2020 due to Covid-moratorium, interest was not charged for 6 months, it became the "accrued interested" which continues from October.
The total interest charged in the statement became much lesser figure.

For my case, as my tenant still pays in full throughout 2020, this means my nett rental income is higher now ( minus lesser amount of interest charge ), and the taxable income become more. But its not like I am getting more income

Any bros and sis in the same situation ? Seeking some opinion how to include the interest in the deductions.
