Enrich Points Redemption

Hi guys, I have made a booking through Enrich Hotels using points redemption. However, due to the system error, they did not confirm my booking and deducted my points.

I made this booking 1 month ago and until now they have not refunded me any points. Even now if they refunded the points I wouldnt have enough points to make the initial booking as all the prices have increased due to the closer travelling date (also the hotel is not available anymore).

May I know if anyone knows if I would be able to get some sort of compensation? Now instead of free accommodation (through points redemption), I have to fork out money for other hotels.

I have emailed and called them but all they say is wait for points to be refunded. The hotel that I have tried to redeem in full costed about RM6k-RM7k during that period and now I have to book a cheaper hotel forking out my own money which cost about RM5k

Repair Recommendation

Hi guys, I bought an Illegear laptop 3 years ago and recently there was some issue with the laptop and I send it back to them for diagnosis. However, they told me that my mobo is faulty and ask me to purchase new laptop instead of repairing it. They told me if want to repair is 50/50 chance and advised me not to do so. I asked them what is wrong with the mobo they just answer me is faulty.

Is there any other option I have or any place that you guys can recommend for laptop repairs? This laptop cost me 7k and its lifespan is only 3 years? it is ridiculous.

Hey guys, I have been putting a monthly sum into this scheme for almost 3 years since Mar 2017. I have been contributing without much thinking about these funds until lately when I remembered my agent told me (before I signed up) that this plan will give you cash every year and you will get to keep your money that you invested inside without touching it. He even mentioned that you can use this extra money for holiday and whatever bullshit.

So at that moment I was sold (yes naive and of course did not really go through the policy, but it has this table which has a column stating "what you can cash out periodically" so I assumed that is really true. Recently I asked my agent whether I can cash out some money to use and he told me I am not able to cash out anything at all until maturity.

Long in short, I am tied down to this plan and not sure if it make sense to continue or terminate because I won't be able to withdraw anything for another 27 years (even EPF you can withdraw some money).

Any sifus can please provide your valuable experience and advice if I should continue with this plan. Thank you very much in advance.

Laptop Recommendation for Work

Hey guys, I am planning to buy laptops for my company. Thinking to get at least 10 laptops with a min spec of i5, 8gb ram and SSD

Budget is around 3k for each laptop but can increase if reasonable. Appreciate if you guys can recommend a few for comparison. Would prefer light weight and long battery life, mainly for presentations, creating presentation decks and research (multiple tabs can be open on chrome without any lag or issue).

Also if you guys have any contact for bulk buys with purchase on credit would be great.

Monitor Problem

Hey guys, I have been having some problem with my monitor. I recently found out that my monitor auto switched to Burn In Mode. It works normally during Burn In Mode but if I turn off Burn In Mode. I won't be able to turn it on anymore. Any idea why this is happening?

Just wish to know that i wish to commence a business on a open space rental lot (not a shop)

and i would like to register my business, however i would be doing this business at home (online as well)

It wouldn't even load till the part with the logo, I'm using windows 8 by the way.

guys just wanna ask if i should upgrade my CPU? i have been playing this game (Blade & Soul)

i find it difficult to play at high spec, will get around 30-40 fps and my pc will be very noisy once i play

may i know what is the main issue here? could it be the problem lies on the game installed in a slower hard drive?

Mouse Freezing Issue

Hi guys,

Firstly I would like to explain what happen to my mouse recently. I have no idea what is wrong, it randomly freezes for 1 or 2 s occasionally especially when I am playing games.

Sometimes it goes undetected and then back to normal again. Another weird thing is about my keyboard as well, it tends to go undetected and there is no way that is going to work again until I restart my pc and have it replug in.

I have tried to googled the solutions, many have recommended to reinstall the windows mouse drivers but it doesn't work for me.

Let me share my pc spec and peripherals with you guys.

CPU: i5-2400
RAM: Corsair DDR3 1600 8GB
OS: Windows 8 Pro
GPU: Zotac GTX 770

i tried connecting PC to the TV via HDMI to HDMI but there is no display, however when i connect using dvi to hdmi from PC to TV it has display.
