In Kluang, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the special branch and intelligence agencies would activate their links with international sources to identify and clamp down on the hackers, which attacked several official government websites yesterday.

In Kuala Lumpur, Bernama reported that Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar said police had a fresh lead into those responsible for hacking several government and private sector websites but declined to comment further.

“If investigations reveal that there is a criminal motive, we will propose to the MCMC to block their websites,” he said after attending a National Defence Fund cheque presentation ceremony.

A group of cyber criminals known as Dragon Force Malaysia managed to hack the websites of the Polytechnic Studies Department, Higher Education Department and a private tourism portal, early yesterday morning.

Problem details
First occurence of problem: -

Problem description:

I am using the internet connection where I can plug in directly to the ethernet port installed in my unit. When using a switch or just plug the line into single computer, there is no problem. But when I plug into my recently bought router, WRT54GL, the connection become very slow after sometime. Then I try HyperWRT and also DD-WRT, using various configuration, it is even worse. The speed of the line is very slow all the time.
One thing I notice that is the internet activity light keep blinking all the time as I plug in the line no matter I use the internet or not.

Does anyone know what is the problem I have? And is there any solution?
