EU airlines complain unfair advantage from China

BRUSSELS, Oct 16 (Reuters) - European airlines urged Brussels on Wednesday to do more to secure a level playing field in the industry, complaining that Chinese rivals enjoy a huge cost advantage because they can fly over Russia and do not face extra environmental costs.

A number of carriers, including IAG-owned British Airways (ICAG.L), and Lufthansa (LHAG.DE), have recently cancelled their routes to Beijing as they struggle with competition from Chinese airlines on Europe-Asia routes.

Action is all the more important because many carriers are also facing delivery delays as planemakers Airbus (AIR.PA), and Boeing (BA.N), struggle with supply chain problems and, in Boeing's case, industrial action, the airlines said.

At an industry press conference in Brussels, Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr said all flights into Europe should be required to avoid Russian airspace to ensure fair competition.

"We are not allowed to cross Russia but Chinese carriers are. If you want a level playing field, we need to ensure any airline landing in Europe avoids Russian airspace. Until that happens there will be enormous advantages to Chinese carriers," he said.
He also said that Chinese airlines did not have costs related to Europe's emissions trading system, describing that as another "financial advantage".

Need advice on server spec

I will be setting up a web server with concurrent users about 50, sometimes peak at 100.
MySQL database usage is minimal. Running some custom web apps.

Please recommend me what server hardware (Processor/RAM) I should choose for this usage. VPS or dedicated?

Can't play any video

Few days ago, my PC suddenly cannot play video on all media player (including WMP, MPC, Real) except for VLC. And some video played is slow and out of sync with the audio. Other than that, I can't view any video on YouTube without turning off the hardware acceleration in the flash setting.

I have tried re-install Windows and update the GC driver to the latest but still can't get it work.

Izzit confirm it is my GC problem? But I still can run all the games with high settings smoothly without any problem.

Spec:
AMD Ahtlon X3
Sapphire HD4860
2x 2GB RAM

23-24inch.

Budget: 500-600 per monitor

Any monitor which has small bezel that good for tri-monitor setup esp for gaming?

Please recommend me the components, for a low budget around 1.5k-2k.

Here my needs:
- Light gaming, able to run most games w/o any lag but not at highest settings.
- Using a 24 inches LCD monitor (1920x1080 resolution)
- Able to play HD videos.

Pls suggest both spec for AMD and Intel if possible.
Prefer DDR3.

Low end AGP GC recommendation

I need a GC that can support most of the games (run in VERY low details will do), since Im not an extreme gamers.

DVD Burning problem

Using Liteon DVD Burner, Imation 16x dvd+r media, and nero.
I had tried to burn many DVDs, almost all of them failed.
Some failed in the middle of burning, some burnt but most of the files are corrupted (Read error), some 'succesfully' burnt but when inserted the disc into the drive again, it show no disc is detected.
Any idea wat is goin on?

Problems installing maps

CS:CZ, I downloaded some maps n moved them to the map folder.
When I play the game using the map downloaded, it shows an error message:

Mod_LoadBrushModel: maps/cs_mansion.bsp has wrong version number (1347633750 should be 30)

What is the problem?

And bout the first 2 alphabet of the map's name, i noe cs - hostage rescue, de - bomb, as -escape, wat bout others like fy, he, gg ka, aim, awp, pa, fun, surf, misc, scout... ?
