how many of you actually fully understand your policy?

I just had a conversation with my friends who recently bought a refreshed policy, and upon reading and seeing their great eastern personal portal - they are practically NOT covered for the most commonly used/highest chance to claim hospital in-patient.

In other words, they are only covered for critical illness, the policy that their advisor show them of course have the comprehensive, room, surgery bla bla any costs covered, but, BUT, if you read the finer prints, and if you actually copy&paste and search the 4.2.2.1(example), it will bring you down to page.125(example), where it lists out illness these are eligible for, it includes things such as Parkinson, Alzheimer, very specefic Heart Disease etc etc.

Long story short, if these 30-40year old fella masuk hospital now for any common reason, 99% chance their claims will be rejected. This is a case of "trust" your insurance seller until don't know what's legally binding and ultimately what will be eligible is all in black and white, and not coming out from the mouth of your insurance seller who most probally just doing this as their 2rd or 3rd job, while they themselves working on an unrelated full time job.

So, if everything you know or thought about your insurance is all coming out from the mouth of your agent, instead of reading your signed policy, then it's a good time to review/cancel/re-sign a new one lol

mf don't realize if he hospitalized for food poisoning, broken leg, super high fever or any other common stuff - he's ABSOLUTELY NOT covered, yet thinks he will no problem to walk-in a hospital for whatever reason, he's only covered for illnesses thats more likely to happen in 60-70 or some real niche/critical ones where you rather die.

Don't give insurance free money, then complain when you can't claim for shit down the road.

Any review from people who actually bought and used those so called “recon”, “refub” big brake kits?

Ie. Those priced 3k - 6k cheapass big brake kits?

Let’s be honest here, we all know for a fact these are fake brake kits made in taiwan, china etc. for that price you’ll only be able to get the rotor itself, not the whole set from those reputable brands, AP, Brembos most common.

Any review for those that have driven hard on these brakes? Hard braking from 140-180km/h, any shudder? Consistent pressure? Can tahan even after it’s glowing red and smoking (ie. At trackdays or driving hard downhill)?

I asked a few irl clueless fella, most common answer is “fuiyo bro tekan sikit jer terus makan, guna brek 1-2 inci saja cukup”. Well dumbass you’ve just lost brake modulation by overly sensitive brake, either mismatched master cylinder or brake balance.

VW Golf GTI

Most review say its 212k, which is cheap la given it’s a GTI weh, but infact the prices since month ago has already been increased to 227k++.

I also very rarely see GTI on the road..

What’s your view on the latest mk8 GTI? Good buy? Some say just buy a 5-6k racechip fully plug& play install ownself at home also can, and the GTI can push out 300hp and 400nm, and some say wait tuning out and can safely 350hp.

Any GTI owner? Really peformance/sports car ka?
Cibai SA go hype up like wuoa whoah this is peformance car so must becareful bla bla, padahal I don’t feel impressed at the stock 245hp 370nm power at all weh. Can any car sifu explain or share what’s the hype with GTI?

I know i will never be impressed with a car raw speed anymore because i’m used to my superbikes that 0-100 in 3~seconds, and 100-200 in 4~ seconds, and 200-260 in another 5 seconds, and another full 7~seconds for 260-300km/h (video recorded in gopro and got the times from video timestamps, not some googled timing)

Opening this thread to show my friend, who just placed an order for the brand new e class, the e300 variant.

His take home pay is est around the low 10k range, the car price is ~370k, monthly agility payment is around 3.7k.

For those of you know how agility financing works u know lah.

Well, whats funny is, he thinks this of an “upgrade” to his whole life, while most his close friend who knows it means he’s just getting poorer instead.

We laff, he angry.

We say “sohai after agility financing increase after the first few years? Sohai u know this means u effectively are taking a paycut right?”

He say “tiu salary will increase ma”

We laff again “sohai means you will not progress anywhere in your life for the next few years la, salary increase, car loan increase, and your quality of life stays shitty”

His Benz SA, laff. With a sarcastic “boss u can 1 lah, can geh can geh”, all the while grinning with a condescending look.

I know /k alot of fella oso this pattern buy car until more then 1/3 of their salary punya specis, what say you about this?

a friends problem

so i got this friend. and i don't care if you think it's me since this board is anonymous and basically inconsequential.

so over the new year a group of guys were chatting about boobs, and it's a very glaring problem with chinese girl with small boobs, but one serious problem is flat chested.

one of the guy admitted his GF is flat, it's his first GF, and everything else is perfect about the girl, wife material and everything EXCEPT the physical satisfaction part. Now, since this is his first GF, of course he's happy any feel fulfilled and everything la, but we all know, and even he secretly knows deep down - it will be a problem for him. Sooner or later, he will miss boobs.

Actually even right now, he is more focused on the girls in public/his office simply due to their boobs, it's like he's trapped in the desert with nothing to drink but a thick ice-cream, which does not quench or satisfy his thirst.

Question, to other bros (girls just leave this out, we know for sure you will support the other girl) - will you settle down, or be OK to have a girlfriend who is flat chested? Note, we're talking about flat-chested as in same as a skinny boy's body, with 2 female nipple on it, NOT "small breast" or A-cup's, thats a sizable breast for us asian already. In his words: We're really talking about KLIA that no bra could prevent a nip-slip, even aa sized bra is pointless because the nipple will just show if she were to bend down, and there's one time, he went MTB cycling with her, and she's wearing a rather "modest" singlet, not low cut, and it's clearly show the 2 nipples off while they're cycling in the park - who knows how many ppl saw it. Basically it's so flat, even the smallest sized sport bra makes it looks like she had boobs. That's the perspective we're working on here.

All of the guys in our group, answered No, never gonna happen. Because we're answering it from a perspective of putting ourself into that position, marrying, waking up beside a girl who's body remind you as a 8year-old little girl, having a girl who cannot wear most basic female cloths because of nipslip. To spoon with someone who you really couldn't feel is it their front, or back. To have a girl to hug or hold your arm, but you never can feel any boobs just feel as if a skinny male with long hair is hugging you.

Don't base your answer just to boost your self-morale, this is a anon board which people won't care about you - because firstly, we all also answer "hell yea - of course we're cool, of course because she never choose to be born that way", same as how we will NEVER bash or say anything derogatory about OKU or someone who is a victim of unchangeable fact of what life dealt to them. But when we really let it sink in... and the realization of it's your whole life, as a male you've basically given up on boobs - unless you commit adultery

anyway he's considering a breakup, because this will just eat into him, and we advised there is really no point going further, wasting time if you 100% know you won't be satisfied, and you will fk around other girls given the chance

Brake parts stolen

Firstly, asking for a friend who just got his parts stolen, kawasaki quoted 4k all-in just to replace:

1. Kawasaki’s stock Brembo brake levers.
2. Nissin stock hydraulic clutch lever
3. Reservoirs for both brake and clutch
4. SS hoses for both brake and clutch
5. Misc stuff to cover wayar yang kena cut, mainly brake light engagement wire

Does the above sounds about right? I was telling him it should be around 3k instead of 4k, what are your thought?

Also, wtf is wrong with these idiots nowadays keep stealing bike parts? I follow him go workshop, got another 2 bikes also suffering the same fate, worst is their brake caliper that got stolen!!

Im telling you the moment these idiots uses lazada to buy security screw nuts, no bike will be safe...

Guide: Bikers 101

As i’m new to the biking world, im not sure on all the unwritten rules of the road, can any experienced rider share abit? Like how to tell if someone “bakar line”? How to know when its safe to cut other biker during a corner? Cannot cut at all?

Here’s a few from me:

1. At traffic light tu, janganlah block the only fking way to the wide spot of roads. Ie. Don’t fking stop directly beside 2 cars if in front/around got alot of space! You’re causing all biker to queue in 1 line beside car - dangerous.

2. Lanesplitting, seriously do not farking race across traffic while lanesplitting, anything above 30km/h speed difference with other traffic jem is TOO dangerous, FU to those tailgaters causing unnecessary stress coz you’ll never know when they will do something stupid.

3. Don’t tailgate car, dont stay directly behind cars!! No matter u using 999mm brembo brake also no use, cars will always outbrake you in day to day situation. Also, u will lose your life if you tailgate and crash, as compared to driving, u lose your insurance only if crash while tailgating.

4. Similar to above, as a biker, please lah don’t, DO NOT follow cars traffic speed, you are annoying as fuck to car drivers. I hate the most when I driving and got bikes always speed matching with me. Apalanciao, you either cut me and get the fuck off or move away to slow lane. You are not safe riding at 100km/h at fastlane eventho all cars are moving at 100km/h.

5. Stop jumping the red light. Just.. stop.

6. Do not roadrage VS cars, you will undeniably die if you met someone that is not a pondan. Ie. For me i will without a question bang the fk out of you until you fly if you actually triggered me unnecessarily. I’m a biker myself, but no mercy for orang bodoh.

Litre bikes

i just got a chance to test out a s1000rr...

i'm going to imagine all litrebikes are as stupidly overpowered as this bike? This is to the point of dangerous as barely half-a-cm twist of the write and i'm hitting 120km/h+ on small streets which usually on cars are 40-60km/h...

Seriously i cannot even shift out of 1st gear, and smaller more common highways only i can hit 2nd gear (140+)... what is the fun of not being able to change gear?

Well ya, this bike does make enough power/torque even if i shift to 2,3,4 on <60km/h, but.... but... what is the fun of your RPM barely hit 6k, when the limit is at least 12k....

i learned one good lesson tho - i ride a z900 and comparing with s1000rr's acceleration while helmet down, tucked in - it feels still feels like a punch to my heart when i fully accelerate on a s1000rr. z900 is nothing at all compared to this s1000rr's acceleration.

I was contemplating on buying a litrebike... but after tonight's testride... maybe not, the speed buildup is way too insane, without noticing and BAM 220km/h(still feels slow) at putrajaya smaller highways. What's your excuse to ride a 1000cc bike? Is all litrebike behaves the same manner as this bike? INSANE POWER, really crazy how some motorcycles are, and to think 99% of typical cars on malaysian road would want to race a litrebikes is just a damn joke (saying this because got a civic tried to "race" me by overtaking, and then maintaining 190~ km/h only... what he don't know is.... i'm maybe at 50% throttle only, i can easily burst to 250km/h++ within seconds)

Anyone has any tips about servicing your bike at kawasaki dealers? Im starting to think the place i bought my bike at is trying to rip me off after he saw i arrive using a certain car model & was talking relentlessly about my no.plate...

How do i know if my dealer is ripping me off? My 3rd service costs around 500 bucks... (1K and 3k is free but 3rd service pay)

Also, do you keep your service book? Unfortunately i lost my kawasaki service book the moment i bought it, i have a bad habbit of throwing new boxes etc - luckily my geran motor is still with me la...

Any problem if i lost the book?

biker and side mirror

errr so this is strange... ok so today traffic jem, i'm driving a car,

and then for some whatever roadrage reason (i'm sure it's car fault la, but din see whole story), i saw the motorbiker smash the car's sidemirror, honda city.

And of course in less then 1 second of his mirror kena smash, the car straight away swerve into the motorbike, sideswiping him, open mirror roadrage for 2 second while just drive pass him. Drive pass ah not over ok.

what would you do?

For me, it's so damn weird that i actually laughed at the incident because of both of their stupidity have to pay $$$ to repair sidemirror & bike - felt both of them deserved it, i wanted to help the biker la (some inline4 bike view kena block kenot confirm CC, just can hear) but... decided not to because of his stupidity. Now the strange part is - all cars and motorcyclist at that point of incident just went pass. NOBODY freaking stopped, maybe because everyone was thinking the same as me?

motorbike, no matter what - you roadraging in public roads is just suicide in Malaysia - car drivers pay no pity to motorbikers, it's like you're not a human as soon as you get on a motorbike, jangan bodoh please unless u got a gun.
car, jeez come on that guy could have died, but i think he didn't die la... but dude seriously..

ps - i'm a biker, a full 948cc of bike while i enjoy for the weekend.

Irregular tyre wear?

Guys, can anyone please shed some light and share your views on why my rear tayar wear is so strange?
[attachmentid=9450543]

As you can see there is one line that looks untouched by the ground, by logic - as i've already "used" past that line, there shouldn't be an un-used/clear portion of rubber before it kan....

Tyre is the stock dunlop d214 180/55/17 that comes on a z900.

Thanks for answering, i'm very new to motorcycle - and have just logged my lifetime 3000km motorcycle distance so far, so there's lots of things i don't know and have been taking things easy, especially when online reviews has been saying how d214 tyres are not supposed for aggressive riding.

**edit if that shiny line is at the very edge of my tayar, then i think it's normal la coz i don't lean until no reserves left for emergency - so the edge of tayar memang haven't touch the ground before... but the line is at the middle pulak... is something wrong? balancing? allignment? both left-right side shows the same shiny line...

Kawasaki Z900 1-month review

Well well well - it's been a month since i've first laid my hands on my Z, first visual impression out of the shop are extremely impressive - despite the funky blue/gold colour tone for SE version.

My riding experience; my first ever ride was a er6-n, by Metro driving school. Cumulatively, I sat on that bike for less then an hour before taking & aceing my JPJ lesen B.

2nd bike was the z900!
Boy oh boy, this bike to me is the perfect beginner bike, this will be the bike that i will recommend brand new riders who never had experience with ANY BIKES WHATSOEVER - those that is dabbing their toes into superbikes entree level bikes, very tame bike.

Tame, both in acceleration & deceleration, the bike's front brake have a very mild bite - which is exactly what a beginner should get! Ever panic coming into a corner too hot and instinctively you touched the front brakes? Well i did, and thank god for that split second after depressing the lever i remembered the multiple youtube video guide mentioning that's a surefire way to have a real fucked up day - and i slowly let it off without much drama, saved - yet i learned a lesson, and muscle memory for it.

Acceleration - again tame (means safety!!), in a sense that you won't wheelie unless you grab more then 60% of the throttle travel, beginners tend to have a rough hand articulation, and the tame nature of acceleration/torque that dosen't really hit you in the face until you're over 6000rpm, is very welcomed.

Bike weight - i don't feel it, at all - infact i felt the er6n at JPJ is way way heavier and not as nimble as z900. The Z900 turning/leaning characteristic is gradual with no surprises, bike actually provided alot of natural feedback that you'll know when you're going to slide. Infact once i felt the chassis is "telling" me in advanced that my backwheel is going to slip (on a white painted line - those smooth type) - and i immediately straighten up my bike, and lo and behold - backwheel actually slip a littlke while bike is upright.

Suspension wise - i can't comment much given that i might just be the perfect weight for the stock set-up? 66kg naked, no clothes. But no complains so far, suspension never really failed me - it always managed to keep both wheel planted on the surface no matter the curvature or small bumps. Or maybe i'm just not riding it hard enough - but hey i'm just a one-month old new biker

Wind/aerodynamics nature - well, with the SE extended windshield, the biggest trouble of wind resistance is only felt on my helmet. The wind resistance on my body/hands are acceptable even at 220km/h, this might be personal - but i will rate the wind/aero design as "just right" for all parts apart from the head. The wind pressure on my helmet is just downright uncomfortable, it's as if someone is pushing my helmet with all their strength towards the back, i am forced to involuntarily have a silly big grin on my mouth as the cheekpads push back on my face - exposing my teeth and making a "why so serious" face.

Additionally my z900 has had the breadbox removed, but the cat remain (guys z900 cat is NOT in the squarebox, if you want to de-cat, you need to remove it from the straightpipe right after the oxygen sensor). So if your local workshop just gergaji your breadbox, it's not entirely removing your cat yet, it's a very common misconception among shops, you can obviously see the cat still in the straightpipe after you saw off the exhaust yet i've seen people saying it's "decat" already. Anyways - i want to leave my cat in, so it's ok.

What i hate about the bike:

1. Sidemirrors, what the shit man .... do i need to explain further?
2. Lights, come on... halogen bulbs... using reflector panels... and this is year 2017... man that's just unnecessary waste of voltage, loss of brightness, and the cutoff for the lights are so weak, i'm not surprised if cars don't notice my lights shining into their cabin when i'm at their blindspots...
3. No traction control, biggest problem. I never had the need for this yet - but it's unnerving knowing this bike doesn't have this safety feature.
4. Engine heat, not really a big problem - but you can definately feel the engine heat warming up your lower/middle shin due to the air passing through the engine and the aerodynamics for the outlet is shot directly at your shin. Not a problem if you wear jeans, but if seluar pendek, slacks/thin kain - sure will feel the heat.
5. Fucking recall right after i buy my bike. Great. Just freaking great.

Globally, Kawasaki has issued a recall for the Z900 but hey it's finally it's my turn for my very own "fix"!

Here's the goods, screws and brackets that's made in Japan - ooohh how fancy
[attachmentid=9430171]

Left side bracket reinforcement:
[attachmentid=9430181]
[attachmentid=9430184]

Right side bracket:
[attachmentid=9430185]

Bottom view of both:
[attachmentid=9430186]

So far there is no recorded failure for Malaysian yet, maybe we're just pussy in riding bikes or our roads are just perfect - but better safe then sorry!

All in all, Z900, as a beginner bike, lepak-lepak casual bike, cheap cheap(relatively la.. with 50k u get this type of peformance weh.. dah kira baik lah), looks like a proper "bigbike" gets a 4/5 star rating from me, as a beginner.

Z900 / Street Triple RS

i was searching though the internet for a malaysian based biker forums and bam, i'm here.

I recently just passed my JPJ lesen B and i'm thinking to get a bike this year end... hopefully there's year end sale/discount, but i'm really torn between the Kawasaki z900 & Triumph's Street Triple RS...

Can any experienced rider share your views about Kawasaki VS Triumph in general? (ie. macam Honda VS Volkswagon?)
Also, it looks like the Street Triple RS is more newbie friendly with all the electronics aids, TC, rider modes - while z900 is just sold purely on the powerful engine and "pure" riding experience - which i don't have.

Will i die without traction control?
