Hi sifus.

Does anyone know how eSim work? Planned to get one from China Mobile for travel to China soon.

I know esim has got no sim card but is there need to remove current sim card?
Would it cause a clash with Whatsap, cos whatsap will need a valid phone number.

Erase the same parts from many jpgs

Hi sifus,

I want to delete the same parts (such as page number etc..) from many jpg files. Currently I have to open each jpg file in MS Paint to select and delete the same parts individually, however, it's time consuming as there are hundreds of them.

Does any one know whether there is a way to delete all at once, and any software (preferably free) which can achieve this? Batch select and delete the same portion of many jpg files, like in the attachment.

WD External HDD sudden became unallocated. Help!

Dear expert sifus, i am not sure what i have clicked in windows just now, both my WD external HDD suddenly became unallocated and inaccessible. The worst is, both are backup drive.

I use recovery software and can see the data is still intact in the HDD. I am now recovering the most important data first. How to easily mount it again without altering the data? Is there simple way to get it accessible without formatting?

About renaming files in Win 10

Hi sifus,

I have hundreds of files named by date and time. I want to rename my files by naming them the next file name for all files. For example:

20210824-100223 --> 20210824-170536
20210824-170536 --> 20210825-084517
20210825-084517 --> 20210825-113244
20210825-113244 --> ....

I would like to ask if anyone has experience or solution to this issue? How can this be done? Thank you a lot.

When to get second jab after infected Covid?

I've recently recovered from Covid. When I was infected, I have already taken 1st jab Sinovac. I didn't get to take 2nd jab. After how many days after I was confirmed positive can I take my second jab? Anyone has similar experience?

Antibody test after Covid recovery

Hi all,

I have recovered from covid and I want to do this test to just check how much antibody in my body. Has anyone done covid antibody test? If you wouldn't mind sharing where you've done the test. In what format is the reporting done? IgM? IgG? I've seen some centres mentioning neutralising antibodies which got me confused.
